So it was a head ache thinking about changing our useless tub to a functional shower even though I love the claw foot tub. I had read reviews of unit where people said that the curtain rod was poor quality... this one is great, very sturdy. The faucet and everything else is beautiful. We were worried about leaking, none. It comes with teflon tape too. Anyways, you cannot go wrong with this set up. Its gorgeous and such high quality. I highly recommend it.

It works great and looks great! the only thing I would change is to make the shower curtain rod a bit larger but really you couldn't get a better product for the price! Once again looks great! I am really pleased with this purchase.

This product way exceeded our expectations, the look, price,quality and how easy it was to put together. We really recommend this product to anyone how is looking for an old fashion look in their bathroom.

I have a claw foot tub and needed a fixture for it with a shower. Everything I found was $500 at the bottom price so this on overstock was a God send. The faucet and handles are excellent. Heavy strong construction. I didnt know about having the water outlet so high up but actually its perfect for a 5 gallon bucket to fit under so its great. The draw back on this package as you will see is the shower curtin itself. Its of thin gauge metal and is weak. The connections to the wall and ceiling isnt enough to make it as stable as I like. We dont use this much but with the standard anchors they give you i know this is going to pull down with time. If you can put some 3 inch screws into solid wood you would be fine instead of the anchors they give you. The actual curtain rod would definatly not take someone hanging on it and would probably easily kink if someone did (im thinking kids pulling hard on the curtain). All and all if you shop around this is a great price and if you can get by with being kind to the shower curtain when using it you should be fine. God Bless, Mark

Besides overstock sending the item in two different colors, the shower ring is too small and the quality might as well be cheap plastic. This item amounts to nothing more than JUNK.

This is not the fanciest faucet set you can buy, however it is still very functional for the price you pay. I have looked everywhere for a faucet/shower set for my tub and never found anything less that $500. After reading reviews before purchasing, I knew what to expect. Some parts to the set you need to be very careful not to bend, as it is cheaply made. When buying this keep in mind you get what you pay for, yet if you are looking for something to make your bathroom look good and are careful with the product, it should serve you well! It has served its purpose to us and I would recommend this product!

I was very happy with Overstock.com's customer service. However, I am upset w/ the overall experience. I ordered the Vintage Shower Set (Chrome). It came in a timely manner ... but the shower rod was bent. I went through the RMA process and received another Vintage Shower Set (Chrome) ... however, this time the shower rod was GOLD and not CHROME ... and NOW they are out of stock.... So the ordering of this part through Overstock has delayed our project by a month and now I'm back to square one. I still have to go through all the trouble of re-packaging both sets and shipping them back from a UPS store.

Good quality for price, but measurements as given in specs were wrong. Returned set.

I must admit that I haven't yet installed this. I have inspected it and read the directions and am very pleased with this product. Quality is very good with heavy materials, quality workmanship and no damage to any parts. As previously stated, this in manufactured by a reputable fixture manufacturer, Kingston Brass, which always offers high quality at reasonable prices. You will not find another product which is comparable to this at a better price. Directions are easy to understand, and I don't anticipate any problems with the installation. Don't hesitate to buy this one!

Yes, I could have spent several hundred dollars more for another product, but this is really a beautiful addition to my bathroom, and a great price! I had resurfaced an old antique tub, and used just a tub faucet to start while I waited to find the right fixtures (for less than $800!). Not sure why other reviewers call any of the parts flimsy, but they are just fine. Assembly was a breeze, and only one extra step was needed - we had to cut the 36" riser for the curtain rod, so that it fit perfectly to our ceiling height. Other than that, it went in very easily and looks (and feels) great!

It works if you are looking to change a tub into a shower. I am selling my house soon so I won't use it long-term. It is flimsy so if you are planning on using it long-term - I suggest you pay more $$ for something better.
