I agree with ericharrison regarding the assembly of this piece -- just think of it like putting a wheel on your car axle -- you have to align everything first, and tighten the screws a little bit at a time and move from screw to screw. And then, voila! You will have a beautifully constructed rocking chair that everyone will want to sit in. My wife and I just had a baby and thought this was a good addition to the baby room. Thanks to this great chair, our little tyke sleeps like, well...a baby!

When my wife and I saw this egg-blue replica of the classic Miller piece, we had to snatch it up. We love the color of the plastic, and the chrome legs, and the rocker legs are delightful to look at. I know some people have mentioned that assembly is a little tough, but the trick is to align the screws, and make sure that you tighten them all bit by bit as you go--I promise you won't have any hassles. The chair is a snug fit--a bit too snug for my ample rear, but the kids love it, and my wife can't pass it up when she goes past. It really is an eye-catching piece, and a great investment for the price.

This eames knock off is very convincing. It is almost impossible to tell the difference between this and the real thing. I'm a cheap sob and feel very happy with this purchase. The quality is high, however the plastic may be a bit more flexy then the original eames/herman miller fiberglass verison. the blue of the actual cahir may not be as bright as illustrated in the description. It is the same size as the originals and is definatly not only a childs chair as described in other reviews, however it would work fine for that as well. The assembly was a pice of cake no problems there.

I really love this rocker! I ordered it and THEN read the reviews, and so I was worried that I had purchased a child's chair, which it could be, but it fits me just fine. I'm 5'8 and have a sizable rear and it wasn't a tight fit or too low to the ground for me. I looked the specs up on the Eames website and this are almost the exact same size as the original Eames rocker, so I wouldn't consider it a child's chair. The only thing that I didn't realize was that the plastic looks kind of cheap. I still love it though and put a cute fluffy pillow in it for my small nursery. I also followed the other commenter's advice with tightening the screws a little at a time and they all fit in perfectly.

I knew that the color was not going to be as pictured. I actually like the color of the actual chair better. They look like upscale, designer chairs. The material is a little on the rough side, but nothing to horrible. I bought two for my living room. Definitely keeping them!

Chair is a great addition to our modern baby nursery. We couldn't justify spending the much more for the official reproduction. Shipping was very quick and took only a few minutes to attach the rocker pieces to the chair.

I purchased this rocker for the baby room and it looks so darn cute next to the crib. There was some assembly required but thankfully, my husband took care of that part. My job is too rock the baby to sleep in this chair, which works like a charm every single time. Like in under five minutes. Seriously. He doesn’t do that in any other chair or position. Simply fantastique!

I realized that it would be small not just from the other comments, but the fact that it does say “kids’ furniture” in the product description.;) It’s a good idea to read before you buy. Now my kid has a well-designed rocker that rocks smoothly and looks quite cool!

Our boys -- 10 and 14 -- love their new Vinnie chairs. We got two for the room they share. The robin’s egg blue adds a nice, even calming effect on what is normally a pretty messy and chaotic room. We also believe that the smooth rocking effect has had quite a calming effect on the boys, who are normally quite a chaotic pair! We give this rocker two big thumbs up (and not because one of ours sons is named Vincent).

My baby sleeps like an angel in this cradle chair. It was not only eye catching and with a great design but is highly comfortable and most important, useful. With its unique design and great baby blue color it is a great addition to the kid’s room. The quality is high while the price really reasonable. I would recommend it to every mother with a little child.

I loved the look of this chair, but upon reading reviews and descriptions, i had the impression it was actually big enough to use as a rocker in the nursery. After putting it together we realized it was barely high enough to support my back and appeared to be designed for someone not quite adult sized. Other than that, it was lovely--very mid-century looking and nice. We had to return it as it wasn't big enough for me. (I am very average sized; 5'6")

This is a great chair. We love the Eames style of the chair, and I was expecting an assembly nightmare. It was just four screws with an included hex driver. Chair is comfortable to sit for a half hour, but you would want a pillow for time longer than that.

The Vinne Cradle Blue Chair is simply adorable and perfect in our baby room -- just like our little bouncing baby boy! LOL! But seriously, when I am in this chair and holding him after his feeding time, he is not bouncing at all, he is rocking gently back and forth in a smooth action, thanks to this awesome cradle chair. This piece looks great, works wonderfully and is quite sturdy. In no time, the little one is sound asleep!

I have bought two from this Vinnie Cradle Chair Blue for my children and they adore these chairs. The color matches perfectly with the child room furniture and atmosphere and the chairs are comfortable. There are days, when children are at school that I sit and relax in one of them. I would buy one for me also, but it is not my size. Otherwise it is perfect and affordable.
