Vincent Van Gogh 'Vineyards at Auvers' Canvas Art

After his voluntary confinement at the asylum in Saint-Remy, Van Gogh moved to a small village north of Paris called Auvers-sur-Oise. During this period, both Vincent and his brother Theo agreed that he would be put under the care of Dr. Paul Gachet.
This was one of the last paintings created by van Gogh and was painted a month before his death. Some experts posit that work from this period indicated that he was moving in a new direction as an artist.
