Cheap looking and uncomfortable to hold
Had to return it. The weight was fine - it's 18/10. But the appearance of the flatware was so cheap looking - it looked like a $50 set. It doesn't look anything like the picture. It's hard to describe, but it had a weird shininess to it, like they used a cheaper process to polish it. My last set was a contemporary design and only 18/0, but it was not made in China and had a very refined look to it - the edges on my old set were nicely finished and the overall polish on it looked like real silver. It got lost when I moved, so have been trying to find something I like and want something good. There was no way I was going to have something that looked like it came from a bargain bin. Also, the handles on this set are upturned, which looked fine in the picture but were very uncomfortable. I have small hands, so I can only imagine this would be even more uncomfortable for a man to hold.

Great value
I wanted a good quality set of silverware but didn't want to spend a lot. The quality of the silverware is very nice and is delivered in a very nice silverware box. The weight of the each piece is good and the knives are sharp.

Superior German Craftsmanship
Another Villeroy & Boch success. This set reminded much of Apple's products, where even the unboxing is an experience on its own. Each piece comes individually wrapped for protection. Quality on this set is amazing, it feels very expensive. I would recommend this to anyone that has a sense of style, and appreciates superior German craftsmanship.
