Arrived today. International shipping a bit slow but seems to have been stuck in transit between US and UK. Well packed and maybe over packaged ( polythene sleeves and foam everywhere). Well made and attractive to look at, although with maybe not quite the weight and feel I'd hoped for having seen other Villeroy sets - but still good value for this level of make and the size of set. I especially like the serving spoon, fork and ladle set. It remains to be seen how they will hold up to washing and daily use but it certainly looks good enough. My son, a chef, looked at them and said ' Yeah, we use that make, looks good, pretty bombproof'. Given the prices I've seen for flatware ( we call it cutlery - confused the heck out of me to start with) here, I'd not get this quality for this money even in an unknown brand, let alone a known name like this.

I purchased this flatware influenced by style and brand. I like the weight of even the smaller utensils (small spoon, and salad forks). The look of the flatware is very classic, but hip and modern. All the utensils were packed separately--definitely not Green in packing, but with a lot of care. Two cons: China is brightly printed on the backs of all utensils and I wish the larger spoons and forks were more finished in the back, as in the knives. For the small forks and spoon, its less of a problem. Overall, nice looking silverware at a moderate price, so I can't complain too much. I'm happy with the purchase and would purchase same utensils again.

This was the first set of nice silverware i've ever had & they are simply stunning :)

This flatware is nicely balanced and looks good. It shows fingerprints easily but is a very modern, attractive look when I set the table. Unfortunately, when the set came it was missing a knife. Overstock was unable to provide a knife so I had to pay a small fortune for one knife from one of the replacement web-sites. They did discount my purchase by the cost and shipping of procuring the knife however, which is an indication of how hard Overstock tries to make it right.

Arrived within days of order. Quality product. Looks beautiful on table. Nice to have an "everyday set" of flatware that is so stylish. Using for a dinner party this week.

All except the knives are lighter weight than I expected. I was hoping for more heft. The handles of all but the knives are concave on the underside, not as solid or full as the picture would indicate. The big spoon is too big, and the little spoon is too little. I would have liked a more standard teaspoon.

I am enjoying the silverware. It is a good value for the price. I won't know for a while whether it holds up through multiple dishwasher cycles.

This flatware is very pretty and does well in the dishwasher--even the knives! It is not as heavy as I expected, but still very good quality.

This was my first Overstock.com purchase, and I'm astounded by the quality of their inventory. Nowhere could you find an 18/10 flatware set by Villeroy & Boch for this price. It's a discontinued pattern, but who cares. The price was AMAZING. My only disappointment was that it's made in China. Aside from that, it's a gorgeous set, and I'm so glad I purchased it!

We just LOVE this flatware. It is beautiful and contemporary. It is also substantial to hold and use and holds up well in the dishwasher. I would recommend it to everyone!!

I love my new flatware. The weight is perfect and it looks great with today's decor. The price was a little high.
