Luxury with value
I purchased this set because I love all things Villeroy & Boch.I was blown away by the price.I was very happy when the product arrived.1 month later, I still love my set... however, I see challenges in the future keeping this high polish look - "HIGH" - we will see.However, I would buy it again... and I will recommend it.I actually like it more than I expected and I'm the kind of person that will polish this stuff anyway... but if your not, you may not want to buy something with a mirror finish... that's probably the most important point.

Excellent flatware set
Good weight, good feel, high quality, fabulous appearance. Nothing more to say. This set is comparable to other sets costing twice to four times the price. Perfect for everyday use or a formal dinner party.

This set is top notch. Nice weight and simple design. My only negative on this item is that the soup spoons are rather large but it isn't a big deal..

High quality as always (Villeroy & Boch)
Exceeded our expectation's. This flatware set is all mirror finish., 18/10 stainless. They are the perfect weight (heavy). If you check Villeroy & Boch', e-site, they are double in price.. Highly recommend this set, just make sure Overstock does a better job packing the product in the warehouse. The shipping was fast, shipping box was in excellent condition ,the warehouse is the problem. You cannot sling the product in the box and tape it, and expect it to arrive in good condition. Villeroy & Boch provides a beautiful box and each piece is in a plastic sleeve.. Our 1st flatware arrived with all of the pieces all over the box, many slide out of the protective plastic sleeve and were damaged.. Overstock did do an excellent job of replacing the entire purchase with a new set. Now that whole process can be avoided ( Shrink wrap the box, and put enough padding in the box, so nothing moves, simple enough right ? If you purchase this set, you will be very happy you did . If they spot a little in the dishwasher, just use Bar Keeper's Friend once a month... This set will easily last a lifetime.

I've been looking for a nice set of flatware for ages--it had to be stainless 18/10 service for 12--and I finally landed on this one. I've had it about 3 weeks andI couldn't be happier. It feels great in the hand, the weight and balance are just right, and the design is simple and elegant--it can go from casual to formal in a heartbeat. I'd heartily recommend this product.
