Although the picture of this product doesn't quite depict its actual appearance, this sink and faucet combo is absolutely gorgeous. I thought it was a red glass translucent sink/faucet, when in fact, it has a metallic foil look with dark flecks. The color is a gradient of very deep red at the rim, to a pinkish gold at the drain. The outside is painted black. I repainted the room a soft, shimmery yellow gold on the upper walls, with vivid ruby red at the bottom, divided by a glossy black chair rail. A Black Galaxy granite countertop, some great artwork, and a red/gold mosaic lamp complete this elegant room. The installation of this type of sink (we purchased one for each of our three baths) is a breeze. Much, much easier than a standard sink/faucet. My husband (who is a lawyer, not a plumber) had the first installed within a half hour, and each one thereafter was even more readily installed. In our house, the water pressure is very high, so we have to be careful not to turn the faucet on all the way. It doesn't actually go over the sides, but it creates a lot of splash. We just don't turn it on all the way. The sink is not fixed in place with any adhesives, relying on just a nut under the counter to hold it. This results in a small amount of movement which is unsettling at first, but we've quickly become inured to it. This is an excellent bargain, and a beautiful product! If you're interested in having a modern, elegant bathroom in your home, you cannot do better than to purchase the vessel sink/faucet combos available on this website!Read More
I love the sink, however I found it to be more orange than red, but it is georgous and will work for what I need. I visit the site often to see if there are any other unique items. I would recommend overstock to all my friends. It arrived in a timely manner and it appears to be easy to install.Read More

This sink is so much more than I expected. Almost too good to be true. It won't be installed for a couple of weeks but I know it's going to look fantastic in my bathroom makeover. It goes perfectly with the red glass tiles that will be used for the backsplash and the black counter top that will be installed. This will be a piece of art my new Asian inspired bathroom. Can't wait to use it.Read More

Can you please clarify Is this a red glass or a painted glass? Also, in the reviews there seems to be different descriptions of the coloration. Are there discrepancies between each bowl? Please respond Antoinetta
Hi toni1350, this item features red tempered glass and is not painted. Due to the handmade nature of this product, slight variations in color and pattern will occur. We hope this helps. Thanks for shopping with us.
I don't know for sure but whatever it is it is beautiful. I have red glass tile for my back splash and this matches it really well. I love this sink and just ordered another one.
Can you please tell the difference in color between the Vigo ruby red vessell sink and faucet and the one called Inferno
Hi blondiez, the difference is the color of the bowl. Ruby is alot darker than the inferno option. Please refer to the first picture option, the 2nd will need to be removed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Can you give me the specifications on this faucet? California requires 1.5 gpm and 60psi for all bathroom faucets used in new construction. Thank you.

How to Install Vessel Sink Faucets
An elegant vessel sink can add a touch of modern flair to any bathroom. The requirements for installing vessel sinks and their compatible vessel sink faucets can vary a bit from regular bathroom faucets, however. Here are some simple instructions to help you get your vessel sink faucet installed properly and change the look of your bathroom.
Matching a Vessel Sink to Your Bathroom
Part of the challenge of remodeling is blending fixtures and hardware, such as a bathroom sink, with other elements of your room decor. Unique bath fixtures, such as vessel sinks, can introduce special challenges. A vessel sink is not meant to blend into the countertop as other bathroom sinks do. It's often a focal point for the room. Below are some tips on incorporating a bathroom vessel sink into your bath decor.
How to Install Vessel Sinks
Style and luxury can be added to any bathroom by installing a vessel sink. Two installations are popular: You can either rest the bathroom sink directly on the countertop or cut a hole in the countertop and lower the vessel down so that the sink bowl is partially recessed. Once you've installed the countertop and sink faucet, you'll be ready to install the vessel sink itself.
Vessel Sinks vs Traditional Sinks
The addition of a vessel bathroom sink can really add style to your bath remodel, but before you decide to go with a vessel sink, you may want to know how they compare with the traditional sinks you're familiar with. Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two types of bathroom sinks.
How to Install a Bathroom Sink
Replacing old bathroom sinks can give new life to your bathroom. Whether you're installing a new undermount sink, vessel sink, basin sink or a regular vanity sink, most of the steps will remain the same. If you're installing a pedestal bathroom sink, however, not all of these instructions will apply. All you need is a few tools, your new bathroom sink and a few detailed steps to replace that old sink and give your bathroom a whole new look.
