I love the new sink and faucet i purchased. It looks and works wonderful however I would reposition the faucet if i could remount it. I placed it in the center directly behind the sink bowl causing the water to splash over the drain spout. I think it should be placed to the side of the sink away from the drain spout. It is a beautiful addition to our bathroom and I am glad i purchased it. It was easy to install and took no time at all..
This is one of the most beautiful sink and faucet combos I have seen and it never ceases to draw wows from visitors. The sink is a very heavy and thick glass. Installation was also not difficult. Now down the brass tacks... the sink is flat at the bottom and doesn't drain well at all. There is a constant pool of water that collects in the bottom and we either need to dry it constantly with a towel (but it is not a small amount of water), or clean the mineral ring that is left in the bottom. A definite pain in the butt. It shouldn't be that much work. The water pressure has to be adjusted to regulate the water flow to minimize the splashing. But even at that the water does splash out of the shallow sink and we are constantly needing to wipe the counter. The faucet started leaking after only about 7 months from the bottom. I took it apart and checked the rings and gaskets and everything seemed fine. I put it together and it started leaking again about a day later. I took the faucet completely apart and there was nothing out of the ordinary so I reassembled it and it didn't leak for 2 days. Then it began leaking. Aaaargh! Very frustrated. I might recommend this sink for a person who has an almost never used guest bathroom, but if it is for a regularly used bathroom...STAY AWAY FROM THIS SINK.
