This a beautiful sturdy bench that is easy to put together with the provided tools. It is a lot redder than it looks on screen and it is a bit wider than typical benches, but is perfect for use as a bathroom bench. The surface is perhaps a bit rough but it isn't bad and that can easily be sanded smooth if one likes.
Purchased bench to use outside to hold a large planter. It is sturdy and practical. It was made in Viet Nam without much effort at quality control. One of the slats was made with a badly banged up board. We are using this outside and are able to turn it so that isn't seen.
Purchased this bench for a small seating area just outside my shower. I wanted something that was contemporary and love the look of teak; however, not the price of teak benches. This is perfect! Looks like teak, easy to put together, and is definitely appropriate for outdoors or for an area with high humidity.
I bought this table to use as not only a side table but an extra seat next to my hot tub. The table was easy to assemble but the wood is rough and catches on my bathing suit. It was obvious the manufacturer didn't take the extra time to fine sand the wood to make sure they were smooth. And the stain was so uneven it looked like 3rd graders painted on the stain. I'm used to the wood having different shading but this was more than that. I loved the design and was really disappointed that they didn't work out. After assembling the tables it's really impossible to return them and they were a good price. So I've just left them in the corner of my patio for extra table space when I have a party. Too bad - was really looking forward to making them a center piece of my patio.
I purchased this as an outdoor ottoman or seat as well as a potential tray table. It is made of real wood. The holes for the corner braces were not lined up properly when drilled so some extra work is required for a solid assembly. The finish is a bit rough. I will have to varnish or paint it to use it inside. I guess outside won't matter. It is a good size and sturdy for sitting or as a tray table or ottoman. I will use it outside next season with a colorful pillow. I believe the cost was appropriate.
Buying for a house, I've assembled a number of furniture items. This bench was the easiest to put together ... and the strongest once completed. Each of the four corners at the top has a brace ... attached with wood screws. Additionally, the seat attaches to the two side units at the top with bolts ... these used a hex wrench, which is included. The bottom bracing pieces attach with bolts. No glue is needed. The result is a nice looking, very strong bench. Note that "easy" here does not mean "quick". The instructions are clear, and everything you need is in the package, but it still takes time to fit, screw and bolt everything in place. I put the first one in my mud room. Then I bought another for use outside.
