The divider came fully assembled which was a plus. However, the divider was in a box which looked and smelled like it had been sitting in the rain for sometime on a loading dock somewhere. The inside wrapping paper had stuck to the divider in many places, the spindles had turned slightly moldy and dark from the moisture. The divider had to be thoroughly cleaned with ammonia and water. Worst yet, the gold which looks like it captures and reflects light is in fact gold floral reflective shiny paper! No light will get through because the back of each panel is a sealed piece of wood. I would send this product back if the cost were not prohibitive. My intent is to remove some of the panels and replace them with stained glass window hangs. Also, it could stand a good coat of varnish. This was not a good purchase.

This is a fantastic room divider. It really fits in my home decor. Great quality for the money. I would have had to pay double in the store. If you love shabby chic or Victorian decor you can't go wrong.
