I just recieved my light yesterday and put it up today. It was easy. The light was well packed.. I have 8' ceilings, so I could only use two chain links. it's hanging in my dinning room. The walls are olive branch green, and one accent wall is a very dark green. The light looks good in the room. It's small scale and so is my dinning room, so it fits well over the table.The light seems a little lopsided but it is still pretty.
Originally purchased for the dining room but the colors did not match the way I would like, the size was a little small in diameter as well. Did not want to return the light since it is so beautiful, well made and very colorful. So I decided to hang it above the staircase in a lack luster area of my home, it truly added a beautiful antique elegant style to a rather boring area. With the globe being inverted I love looking up at it when coming up the stairs. Also, with some tiffany style lighting it will appear dull when not lit, the colors on this light are so bright they are really pretty even when not lit.
