We're using this pretty headboard in our guest room. It is lovely and functions just fine but there are a couple of things I wish I had known before I ordered: there are three seams on the front of the headboard that aren't really evident in the website pictures. They aren't deal breakers, but I wish they weren't there - and the center one doesn't lay flat. The standard (least expensive) bed frame that we bought to use doesn't exactly fit. I think we may have been able to upgrade to a more expensive bed frame that may have worked a lot better, but we just didn't. The problem is that we were only able to attach one of the screws to the headboard instead of both, so it feels wobbly if not right against a wall. On the upside, this headboard is upholstered all the way to the floor so it looks nice from the side. And the nail head trim is nice, individual nail heads in stead of the cheaper nail head chain I have seen on other affordable upholstered headboards.

The upholstered headboard was a good buy, as turned out more handsome than the pictures with the brass studs and oatmeal colored fabric. Note - the two wood feet shipped with it came in two different colors, one was black and the other one was courdoban in color. They also did not touch the floor when I mounted the headboard to the recommended bedframe, which was a separate purchase. Thus, did not mount with the wooden feet so threw them out. The headboard only came with 2 bolts and washers and really needs four to hook-up securely. So in summary, the aesthetics were great, but you needed to be handy to get the bed firmly assembled on a standard metal bedframe.

I was going to spend $699 for a headboard and I came across this one for $200. WHATTT! And I'm so happy I did! I love the nailhead trim and the fabric. The color is exactly what you see in the picture and this headboard is just as good as any $699+ headboard. I'm a C&B addict and Overstock has made me reconsider some of purchases from here on out from C&B and other major home retailers. Thanks Overstock!

We love this headboard. The problem we had with it was that it does not fit a standard queen size bed frame. We could not find the special bed frame designed for this headboard so we just used the standard bed frame we already had. My husband tried to drill new holes into the steel plate at the foot of the bed but was unable to do so. We attached the standard bed frame and the headboard was approximately 1/2 off of the floor. We remedied the problem by putting 2 carpet protectors on top of one another under each of the headboard feet to support the raised headboard.

Unforutnately I needed this for an elder parents bedroom and it was taken out of the box, attached to the frame, and the box disposed of before I saw it. Very disappointed in the look as across the front; left, center, and right, are three really large vertical seams. Ruins the look entirely.

THERE ARE FOUR PANELS OF FABRIC which cannot be detected in the pictures, versus having ONE seamless, elegant piece of fabric. The nailheads are uneven and there were two stains I had to clean.

I read all of the reviews before I purchased and was worried about it fitting our bed frame, but there was no problem. Our frame has adjustable height legs and it had to be made a little taller, but everything screwed together easily. I am very happy with this purchase.

For the price, this headboard was a great deal. We had no trouble installing it to our regular bed frame. Took only minutes to put together. Looks very high end for a budget price. My only issue is that there are seams running down the headboard which I don't care for. However with the bed made and all of my pillows, it masks the seam and looks very elegant.

This product looks very nice in person, however the holes to secure the headboard to the metal bed frame did not align so we were unable to safely secure the product to the frame. The product description claimed it fits standard bed frames, which is what we own. If this is not the case, the description should have been more clear providing measurements or other information to help ensure the frame would fit,

We ordered two of these headboards since we have a large bedroom that holds 2 queen-sized beds. I liked the way the headboards looked, but it was extremely difficult to attach the headboard on to the bed frame. My husband I wound up only screwing in one bolt on each side since there was no way two bolts would align. I don't think I could recommend this product since it does not measure to fit a standard headboard.

The product is sturdy and generally well-made. Construction could be better in terms of predrilled holes for feet and bed frame. STILL haven't gotten it on the bed because of this. Also, as others have mentioned, there are three prominent seams in the headboard and they are distracting. The fabric, too, was a bit more rugged than I'd imagined. Think of a cross between a tweed, a tarp and burlap, but with some shine. It's great from far away, but looks rough close up. Ordering from Overstock was easy as usual, and I even found a little discount in an online coupon. Not bad. However, when package arrived, it was in terrible shape. The UPS deliverer left it on my patio (Good thing my expectations of UPS are low and I cancelled my lunch date to be there when it arrived, as there were showers and he did nothing to protect it or even check to see if I was home. Not the first time, either.) The box looked like it had been dragged behind the truck. Rubbing and tear damage, and even punctures all over. In one spot, it went straight through all the packing and actually damaged the fabric of the headboard. I was VERY disappointed. After some back and forth with both UPS and Overstock, and after being told the item was no longer in stock, I agreed to keep it with a discount. Overstock was very fair in this regard, as the damage was not caused by them. So, while disappointed and annoyed by the waste of my time, I am very pleased with Overstock's response to my problem. I now have a slightly damaged but still perfectly adequate -- and even understatedly pretty- headboard in my room. It was a good value at the price it was offered, though by no means is it high end in its finishing. Now, if we can just straighten out the issues with the legs! ;-)

This was a product worth the money. Good deal, especially when you can easily spend 2 or 3 times more on a headboard of the same build quality. The only issue I have is that the bolt pattern didn't quite line up on our bed frame. I have a sleep number so the pattern, I would think, is standard. I was only able to fit the top bolts in, but as the headboard is pinned against a wall, I really didn't need more.

Headboard looks great. Other reviews mention seams down the front but they aren't visible unless you are really close to headboard. Similar headboard can be found at Pottery Barn for twice the price.
