The upholstered headboard was a good buy, as turned out more handsome than the pictures with the brass studs and oatmeal colored fabric. Note - the two wood feet shipped with it came in two different colors, one was black and the other one was courdoban in color. They also did not touch the floor when I mounted the headboard to the recommended bedframe, which was a separate purchase. Thus, did not mount with the wooden feet so threw them out. The headboard only came with 2 bolts and washers and really needs four to hook-up securely. So in summary, the aesthetics were great, but you needed to be handy to get the bed firmly assembled on a standard metal bedframe.

We're using this pretty headboard in our guest room. It is lovely and functions just fine but there are a couple of things I wish I had known before I ordered: there are three seams on the front of the headboard that aren't really evident in the website pictures. They aren't deal breakers, but I wish they weren't there - and the center one doesn't lay flat. The standard (least expensive) bed frame that we bought to use doesn't exactly fit. I think we may have been able to upgrade to a more expensive bed frame that may have worked a lot better, but we just didn't. The problem is that we were only able to attach one of the screws to the headboard instead of both, so it feels wobbly if not right against a wall. On the upside, this headboard is upholstered all the way to the floor so it looks nice from the side. And the nail head trim is nice, individual nail heads in stead of the cheaper nail head chain I have seen on other affordable upholstered headboards.

A must buy, quality is great, and we're very happy! I think the nailhead detail is perfect for the fabric, and other than the 3 visible seams, it's way below market value! Not a deal breaker, love it!!

Awesome headboard. Our decorators wanted us to go with a $700 headboard from West Elm. We found this and they said go for it. It is perfect and for $500 less.

I cannot say enough good about this headboard. I had bought another headboard for our master from a different major department store for $100 more and this headboard puts it to shame. The quality is wonderful, you would think it would be so-so considering the price, but not so. The fabric is thick and well made. It's sturdy. The back is black felt, but against the wall you can't tell. You can't see any of the felt peeking out from behind. The nailheads look neat and well done. It made the room look much classier. One feature I really like about this headboard is that it extends almost to the floor instead of having legs that stick down to attach to the bedframe. The uniform look of having the headboard extend almost to the floor is much classier and prettier than having awkward looking legs that are sticking out from the sides of the bed. I would easily think this headboard would sell for at least double its asking price. BEAUTIFUL AND HIGH QUALITY-- WIN WIN

We love this headboard. The problem we had with it was that it does not fit a standard queen size bed frame. We could not find the special bed frame designed for this headboard so we just used the standard bed frame we already had. My husband tried to drill new holes into the steel plate at the foot of the bed but was unable to do so. We attached the standard bed frame and the headboard was approximately 1/2 off of the floor. We remedied the problem by putting 2 carpet protectors on top of one another under each of the headboard feet to support the raised headboard.

Looks even more beautiful than the picture shows. Matches just about any decor. Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble. Packed well. Comes with hardware to adjust with your bedframe. I am glad I ordered it.

I really like this headboard. We have it in one of our guestrooms. The shipping was quick a few days and my fiance assembled it pretty quickly and effortlessly. He did however have some issues with screws not fitting properly but was not a huge deal. Looks good overall, great price and would def order again from o.co!

The headboards low price made me think that it was very low quality. I went ahead an took a chance and I am so very happy. Material is perfect, it feels rich and luxurious. This is very nice for the money. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that the headboard fabric has seams in in. Would have preferred that the fabric be one padded piece,instead of the three pieces of fabric. However, kept it. Also....the headboard was VERY difficult to attach to the bed frame. My husband had to make metal plates to attach. The holes on the headboard did not fit any of our three bedframes at our house and one was purchased last week! The look is great, but you must be creative to attach it properly.

The headboard is beautiful. The fabric feels a little cheap and rough, but looks fantastic. Our only issue was the wooden feet. They were to be screwed into the bottom...but the holes drilled for the feet were crooked. VERY crooked. We had to completely redrill. I am fairly handy, so not a huge issue, but was an unecessary hassle. For the price, we are pleased.

Really, really like this headboard! Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, ours is very well put together, except for one leg. We had to try to enlarge a leg hole with no success, then again we were using a steak knife! We liked the color of the nail studs (they are individually nailed in-not on a strip), however I used a silver craft marker to color them a metallic silver and they look outstanding! This is a gorgeous headboard for the price. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is a light oatmeal. Very neutral so you can go alot of different ways with your wall color, etc... It is perfect for our guest room....really jazzes up the place. My mother in law absolutely loved it and she is quite picky about stuff. Cons: Mount did not line up with the frame. My husband could have rigged something up but we decided to wall mount it so it was higher. Looks great! I wish we could attach pics on Overstock.com. It is hard to tell in the picture but there are 3 vertical seams in the fabric. It doesn't bother me and it doesn't look bad.

I'm very pleased with the headboard which was easily assembled - it was heavy enough that I had to ask for my son's assistance in taking it upstairs to the guest room, but once he got it there, I took over and finished off the installation. It is very handsome - exactly what I needed - and if I should tire of the oatmeal color, I can easily make a headboard cover for it and change it's appearance.

My nail heads don't line up as straight as I would like, but it still looks good. The fabric is more tweedy looking than linen looking, but it works for what I am matching it with It is a great value and shipped super quick

Overstock does a wonderful job of getting the product to your home. The product was OK for the money, but we wished we spent more for better quality. Headboard was substantial, but the bolts did not line up and it required some drilling and reinforcement to mount it to the bed frame. I would not have tried to just prop it against the wall since new beds are much higher than the older beds and it would have been lost. I would not recommend it except for people on a bare bones budget.

This headboard was exactly as described. It was easy to attach to the universal frame we purchased from o.co. We tried our older bed frame, but it didn't line up with the screw placement on the headboard. The styling of the headboard is nice and simple. I like the texture/weave of the fabric. The nailhead trim is really a nice touch. For this price, it was an excellent purchase. Ones in the furniture stores are MUCH more expensive and look similar. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I had been researching headboards online for a while and came across this one. It was actually the cheapest of all that I looked at and was hesitant at first to buy it. I purchased anyway and could not be happier. The gold gromets on the headboard make it look expensive. I was nervous also about the reviews below mentioning a "smell" - My headboard did not smell weird at all when i received it. This is however very heavy to carry and did not attach to my bed frame (did not line up) however, I just pushed it against the wall, and put the frame infront and it looks as if its attached so I am not concerned. I would highly suggest purchasing without any concerns if you are looking for an oatmeal color headboard.
