  • the picuture looks so good........

    poorly crafted, crooked, bent pieces, I had to hire a professional to figure out a way to make the parts work. the piece arrived without some pieces included and I had to assemble parts that should have been already together...

  • Looks great - nightmare to assemble

    This island looks amazing now that it has been assembled - and fits a microwave and some bottles of wine attractively. The deep bottom drawer is also excellent. Overall I think the value for the price is quite good. The issue is that the assembly instructions were horrible. I actually think it would have been better to figure out how the piece should go together and ignore the instructions completely. After about 5 hours of two able bodied people working on this we had gotten into a fight, one of us had cried, and both of us had been injured. If you do not have two relatively handy adults to assemble this I would suggest avoiding it completely.

    What a disappointment. Unfortunately I read the reviews AFTER I had made the purchase, and let me tell you, they are dead on. This thing is super poor quality, has poor finish in spots, scratches in the stainless top and some panels, things glued in crooked, missing parts and the worlds worst directions. I am an Engineer and know a thing or two about building things and writing instruction manuals. This one = FAIL. Save your money and look elsewhere.

  • Not Easy to Assemble

    It looks great now that it is assembled, but I had to call customer service twice for replacement or missing parts. For the price of the island, I don't think a person should have to do that!!!

  • Looks Great but It was missing half the hardware

    My review is mixed. the island looks great. However, for 600 bucks I think somebody should be making sure all the anchors and screws are in the box. Hard to attach "Q" and "R" if you don't supply them.

  • Completely Satisfied!

    I read the other reviews before purchasing this, and I have to admit I was a bit nervous. But it matched my kitchen perfectly so I went for it. I got this yesterday around 10am in 2 boxes. With just me working on it all by myself, I had it together and placed in my kitchen by 11:30am! No problems at all putting it together! As far as missing pieces, I had a few extra bolts and screws so no worries there! I think this was the perfect addition to my newly remodeled kitchen! Looks stunning next to my new stainless steel appliances!
