Have had this bed for about a month now, and I love it Looks beautiful, well worth the money. Assembly is time consuming, but not really difficult. I recommend having 2 people to put together. It definitely looks more expensive than it is. The color is very rich and true to how it appears on my screen. I also bought the matching dresser and would recommend as well.

I ordered this bed for my daughter and new son-in-law. They LOVE it! I buy a LOT of things for them through OVerstock and have yet to have anything be a dissapointment! I live in GA and they live in NY, so the shipping is great! Always ships fast!

I bought this bed frame for my new mattress set. It arrived in three boxes. I had to wait for my son to come home to assemble it, but it was worth the wait. It is gorgeous! Definately worth the price. It didn't take him long to assemble it. Buy the bed! You will love it!!!!

Been using it for about 4 months now. It was a bit complicated to put it all together, but is really pretty. Word of advice...Make sure the headboard is facing the correct direction before you add the superglue!

My husband and I bought this bed over a year ago, and I still love it every time I look at it. It is beautiful, well made and an absolutely awesome piece of furniture to have in our master bedroom. And it is such a great price! I only gave 4 stars for Ease of Assembly, since I didn't put it together myself. (I just watched my husband put it together, but he didn't seem to have any problems with it.)

I've been using this bed for almost 10 months now and i have been getting compliments verytime someone ses it for the first time! Very sturdy construction with solid wood. It worked perfectly with the 14 inch memory foam mattress which i also got from Overstock. Can't say much about the assembly as i had 2 guy friends set it up for me. Heard from them that it was not too bad to set up so i gave it 4 stars.

Solid piece of furniture and quality materials for the price. The bed does really take 2 people to assemble it, although I did it myself in about 2 hours. You should have an electric drill or driver to secure the support boards. Comes in 3 large packages. You will need some assistance if you don't have a way to easily get it to the room you plan to use the bed.

The bed arrived in 7 business days in 3 seperate boxes. My husband and I were able to put the bed together in about 2 hours. The instructions are very detailed, and every peice of wood and screws are labeled, so there is no guessing as to if this is the correct peice.The bed is very sturdy, and looks amazing! We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recomend it. What a great bargain!

I purchased this bed frame and headboard in November and have loved it ever since. Very solid construction. Nice finish made of solid wood. The slats are very sturdy and they give you so many that it is almost like a solid platform. My husband put it together using his cordless drill and it went together easily. This is a great buy.

I ordered 2 beds, 4 nightstands, and 2 lingerie chests for 2 bedrooms in a vacation home. I was apprehensive ordering so much online - having not seen them in person. But, I have been very pleased. Good Value, attractive, very sturdy, well made, nice styling. They are time consuming to put together and you really have to pay attention to the directions and pictures. I was thankful for a few suggestion in the reviews here (like being sure to get the bed rails right-side up). A rubber mallet is very helpful to gently bang things together. And a ratchet screwdriver is helpful too. I found my cordless screwdriver was a little too powerful for some of the screws and they broke. But there are plenty of extra parts and not a problem. I was able to assemble all pieces by myself. Although a second pair of hands would have been useful. The project was time-consuming, but it wasn't difficult, and I got a little faster with each successive piece. The bed is made to not use a boxspring - and I have to say - even with a mid-range mattress - it is Very Very Comfortable! Yes, I'd recommend these products. Follow the directions and have a little patience.

Beautiful color, contemporary design that will fit with any decor, and excellent craftsmanship. The only tool needed was a phillips head screwdriver. All other tools and hardware were provided. Everything you need comes in the 3 large boxes. Detailed instructions make set-up simple and easy. Outstanding product for an outstanding price!

I"ve looked at this bed for the last year and couldn't make up my mind about buying it. I spent a lot of time reading the reviews and in the end that was the deciding factor on purchasing. So I'll do my part and submit a review. First of all, I've assembled some furniture and I had no trouble assembling this bed alone,(didn't want to wait for my husband to get home from work). I'm not sure what others were talking about but the bed is partially assembled when it arrives. All the pieces were well packed and everything was in perfect shape and the manufacturer supplied extra parts which in my book is always a good thing. Timewise it took me about 4 hours but I didn't rush and read the directions first, something I'm not sure other reviewers did. Anyway, this is a solid bed, all wood and even the slats are finished! There is not one inch of raw wood on this bed. In other words- excellent quality. Beautiful finish, sturdy construction, better get yours before they're all gone.

I think this bed is great, came in three boxes by ups. Not hard to put together, just one part on the headboard was a bit time consuming. Those darn L-shaped hexagon screwdriver things. Otherwise very easy to put together all by myself. Quality is good, no chips and no flaws. Highly recommend this. Color is like a dark reddish cherry.

Nice, strong bed frame. Yes you will need a couple hours to set it up and two people make the job possible. We bought a similar bed assembled for almost $300.00 more. A cordless drill/screwdriver will help with the MANY slats. This bed is designed for a low profile box spring or no box spring. A normal size box spring will hide the beautiful headboard and you will be sleeping almost 4ft above the floor. The frame is very well packed in 3 huge boxes and protected by Styrofoam sheets. We are extremely happy with this purchase. OS did it again.

The bed was more than expected. The quality of finish, parts and material is better than we have found in the average furniture store and it was easily assembled.

This bed is beautiful, high quality, solid wood with great lines. The assembly was time consuming; thus the overall rating of 4 stars. The assembly time could be reduced if the headboard was one piece; however, it's four separate pieces with the top and sides having to be attached with dozens of screws, etc. to the base of the headboard. The side rails and footboard were easier to attach. There are about 9 slates, that make up the platform, that have to be attached to the side rails with no predrilled holes; so, you'll need an electric screw driver. No holes turned out to be an advantage since you don't have to worry about aligning the slates with any predrilled holes. Allow about four hours to assemble with a partner.

I purchased the night stands for this set last year and the assembly instructions were much clearer than that of this bed. Like many of you who have written reviews, it took quite a while to put together. I'm a single women and I chose to assemble by myself instead of asking someone to help. I recommend having two people to put this bed together. If you have the choice of doing it by yourself or having a second set of hands, I would go with the second set of hands. It took me ALL day to put together alone and I'm pretty handy. I'm surprised with so many people stating that the directions need to be clearer, that the manufacturer hasn't altered the directions for assembly to make them easier to disifer. FYI... The side panels of the frame go ROUND SIDE UP. It will save you time if you know that ahead of time. There is no notation in the directions and the picture shows square flat side up. Overall, I would recommend the unit. It looks beautiful once you put it together. And it is made to be a very stable piece of furniture.

It takes two people to assemble this bed with ease. The bed is a BEAUTIFUL color and is VERY sturdy. My only complaint is that the top piece (crown molding) on the headboard came spliced. I have no idea why the manufacturer cut the top piece into two pieces. They could have easily made the top part one full piece of wood. Now I need to buy some stain to fill in the area where it is spliced. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. I would recommend this product to anyone that doesn't mind the extra work of fixing the top piece on the headboard.

I ORDERED THIS BED ON A MONDAY EVENING, AND IT WAS AT MY DOOR WEDNESDAY, SUPER FAST SHIPPING AND IN PERFECT CONDITION. VERY ATTRACTIVE AND STURDY. I WAS A LITTLE SKEPTICAL ABOUT ASSEMBLING AFTER READING SOME OF THE REVIEWS, BUT I HAD NO PROBLEMS AND ASSEMBLY WAS QUICK AND EASY. I AM SURE MY ADULT DAUGHTER WILL ENJOY THIS BED FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. DOES NOT TAKE UP THE ROOM A BED WITH HEADBOARD AND FOOTBOARD GENERALLY WOULD. BLENDS GREAT WITH OTHER FURNITURE EASILY, PERFECT FOR THE ROOM WITH NOT MUCH SPACE.
