Frame is lovely, came packaged well, a little less luminous than on the website, but really quite nice for a repro.

I have to admit that I was a little scared to purchase this reproduction because of the two less-than-favorable reviews, but I am so glad that I listened to the 13 5-star reviews instead. The reproduction and frame are beautiful. I purchased this for a housewarming gift, and I know it will be treasured for years to come. Also kudos for the wonderful and safe packaging to deliver the "Girl" to me. 5 STARS!!

One of the passions my husband and I share is art. As I was browsing Overstock I came across our favorite painting - "Girl with the Pearl Earring" by Vermeer. I ordered the painting for my husband's Christmas present. It arrived perfectly packaged and incredibly framed. I snuck a peek (in awe) before wrapping it for him and was delighted with the painting. When he opened up his Christmas gift he glowed and I received a wonderful hug. We brought it to every room in our house and my husband decided that it should go in our bedroom where we could both view it together. There are no flaws, it's a gorgeous painting and I am so thankful Overstock included it in their collection of wonderful items. I've ordered many items from Overstock, but must confess that this is the most fascinating piece. The price was unbelievable and the memories we shall make with the "Girl with the Pearl Earring" painting takes us away to long ago and far away places. Thanks Overstock. I definitely recommend this to everyone who enjoys beauty.

Painting colors appear faded, as a color photograph which didn't process correctly. Frame was sloppily painted.

Nice quality picture, but it is a little deceiving on the computer. Quality is not as good as other oil's I have purchased on Overstock and frame is small in thickness.

The frame is beautiful and the portrait a perfect size - but my canvas wasn't stretched completely taught - leaving a wave in the middle of the painting. The girl's face turned out looking yellow-green and you see the original painting's cracked paint in this print - something I think they should have disclosed in the description - although I understand why it looks that way. I returned it within a week - I just couldn't justify keeping it, aside from the great price, for its flaws.

I just love this painting! The quality of the painting and the frame are very very nice. The coloring if superb - she really "pops" out of the picture. I'd definitely recommend this product.

I bought this for my mother as a Christmas present because she had an old ugly poster of the Vermeer painting in her room. It was a little smaller than what I expected, but the quality and the frame were wonderful.

Painting on canvas is beautiful. I was greatle impressed. The frame Has a old glidded feel look. the price was reasonable and worth what I paid. It will be a wonderful addition to my home.

picture is in a nice frame and gives the illusion of a hand-painted reproduction although I suspect this is done by some sort of printer. Interestingly, the title of this painting is "Girl with a pearl earring" which I have always admired yet in this painting she is wearing a gold earring!
