I was very disappointed when I finally received this painting. The frame was beautiful, but different than what was shown. and the portrait was really very beautiful in detail. The problem was my canvas wasn't stretched completely taught - leaving a wave or bubble at the top and bottom of the painting. It was very noticeable, so I had to sent it back. I am going to order the smaller Vermeer painting, and hope that it comes without any flaws. I've ordered other oil paintings from overstock, and they were perfect and exactly as described . I am not going to give up on them just yet.

I love the painting! The color and texture are remarkable, and the frame is exquisite. It has an aged look that fits right into the other two paintings I have by this artist that are actually very old. I am very pleased and would recommend this painting to anyone who is interested.
