Exactly the light I had in mind and at the price point I could afford. I was very excited to find this light on overstock! Arrived quickly. No surprises with installation.The white shade takes on a yellow tone when lit at night as our walls are golden yellow. Casts a really warm glow all over the room and a nice bright glow up onto the ceiling. It also puts a nice amount of light directly on the table but the diffuser is opaque enough to hide any view of the guts of the light or the bulbs.The one thing that bothers me about it is the seams. They are in different spots on the upper and lower tier and so it was not possible to face the seam toward the corner or back of the room... We did the best we could and it will probably not bother anyone else aside from me. I suppose it can't be seamless.Overall we are very happy with it as we have been with all of our past overstock purchases.

The color of the shades are white. They do not resemble the color depicted in the photo. Gives off nice soft light, although as others have mentioned it is HUGE! It doesn't say but it can be hung from a vaulted ceiling as the rod does have a place to bend. I love the pendant it looks awesome in my foyer and totally updates the look of my home the instant you walk inside. It was very easy to install and is very light weight - especially for the size.

This looks better than the one I had originally ordered from a big name store. Better quality as well.

Looks great in my living room. Painted the black rods chrome silver which makes the light much more modern. I see this light at high end hotels and restaurants, but I've not seen in homes before. It makes quite a statement and focal point for the room.

We needed a large light fixture for our foyer and already had the ventura rectangular lighting pendant (also from Overstock), so we decided to see how this 2 tiered light worked. The two light fixtures work beautifully together, and the quality was definitely far beyond what I expected. I saw identical light fixtures in a very popular high-end home furnishing catalogue, and not only was this piece many hundreds of dollars cheaper, I've had guests ask if that catalogue is where the fixture is from. It lights up beautifully, and because there's a glass diffuser on the bottom of it, we were able to use energy efficient bulbs without anyone seeing them (I hate the design of those lightbulbs). I'd give this 10 stars, if they had such a rating!

Despite the large size of this chandelier, it looks great in our dining room. It is contemporary but not over the top. We raised it all the way to the ceiling because of its size. But in a room with high ceilings it could be lower. My husband (who is quite handy) did have some difficulty hanging it and said some parts were missing. That is the only reason I gave it a 4. On appearance, I give it a 5.

I am so glad I found this on Overstock- since I almost paid MUCH more on a similar item from Restoration Hardware. It was relatively easy to install, the color is a little lighter then the picture depicts, especially when the light is on. The online picture does not do it justice. I have it on a dimmer switch and the light illuminating from the piece is soft and elegant. The piece itself was flawless and well protected when shipped. Super fast shipment (as always)

This chandelier is fantastic! The color in the picture is darker than actually -- it is a really nice pale cream. The light cast is soft and warms the room. I was almost scared off by the other reviews that insist you need a high ceiling. It is definitely large, but my ceilings are only 8' and it looks great. Easily assembled. Excellent quality and great price. If you want a bold and beautiful lighting statement, this is the one for you.

The great reviews for this chandelier prompted me to bite the bullet and purchase this online after searching for a chandelier for my dining table for a few months and like all the other reviewers here, I am very impressed. I was hesitant when I read many complaining about the mismatched seams, but one reviewer said the shades were adjustable and they are. You have to use a fair amount of strength to twist the brackets, but you can line up the seams. I was not impressed with it right out of the box unhung. The shades are white, not tan as in the picture however, the shades appear more ambered when the light is on and radiates a perfect lighting for my dining room table.

This chandelier is very large and looks great in a high ceiling room. My only critique is the picture makes it look like it's a light brown or beige but it's pure white... so if you're looking for a shade of brown this is not. Otherwise, for the price you can't beat it!

We just installed this chandelier and I am so impressed! Ours was perfect when it arrived and the quality is excellent. This chandelier looks like it cost twice as much. I love it! It gives our room great presence and sets the mood since it is the first thing you notice when you enter the room. I highly recommend this chandelier!

I am more than pleased with this light fixture. It is substantial in size. The shade is definitely white when the light is OFF and suits my taste. Kudos to OS for bringing us this one.

My husband and I have been looking for something like this at a reasonable price for months. When we saw this chandelier we were in love. I agree that the seams on the drums don't match up, but we were able to hang it in a way that minimizes that view. Overall, great quality, easy to install- a winner!

This chandelier is incredible. It's more white than cream in color. The diffuser makes it look very rich. I have priced similar lights and they are 5 times the price. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this to hang over our kitchen nook table. Like everyone else has inferred, it is HUGE out of the box. Sort of startling! Anyway, I think the trick in most rooms is to hang it from the 6 inch rod only and keep it close to the ceiling. My ceilings are 9 feet. I also put soft white 100w equivalent flourescent bulbs and it looks amazing! Great quality!

I looked at these lights in the stores and decided I could not afford one, then I found this one at Overstock! WOW!!! This light is fantastic. Very high quality, I could not be happier with it and it cost less than a third of what retailers wanted.

Great Lamp, very easy to put together and very nice quality. The lamp came with mutiple extentions to alow you to hang short to very long. We first intended to have it hang short put after trying a few different lengths we liked it half way inbetween.

I love my new chandelier. It is very modern, and simple. It is huge, but it looks great over my dining room table. This is the first time I purchased anything from Overstock.com, and I am very happy. The shipping was fast, and so was the installation. Love it!
