Still waiting on my question on whether this bed needs a boxspring. Please reply soon.
This is a really beautiful bed. Although, the bed we got is different than the picture. Our bed has six of the iron windows. Not sure if the picture is the queen maybe? Anyway, the delivery we got was to the room of our choice, and thank goodness for that because the headboard is huge and the delivery guys had to take it out of the packaging to squeeze it up our stairs. Once we got it out of all the packaging, it was very easy to put together. The middle support beam was about an inch too short but we squeezed it in and fingers crossed it seems to be holding everything up. We just put it together today. It did show up with a few pretty big scratches and divots out of the wood. These are on the back headboard section. I hope we can cover these with scratch cover but haven't tried it yet. Overall, it really does look impressive in our bedroom. I'll update my review if my opinion changes once we have it for a while....
