Have had these for a few months now as our daily dishes. They go into the dishwasher and the kids do handle them. No chips at all yet. Dishwasher does not seem to have any effect on them. They are shiny and just like out of the box. I was so impressed with the packing. Definately over the top. I did drop the teapot lid and it broke. Need to find out how I can get another :-( Does anyone still have the insert with their address?

My husband and I are managers at a retirement community and needed some new dinnerware to liven up our Private Dining Room. This dinnerware is even prettier when you are holding an actual plate than the photo. One can set a very classy table with these pieces. If they can go through our industrial dishwasher and the handling of our staff -- they will definitely hold up in your home! Our regional and district chefs recently came to do their yearly visit and saw the new china and were very impressed -- then when they found out the price -- well. . .they were bowled over! You cannot go wrong with purchasing these dinnerware pieces.

After reading all the reviews I decided to get this set could not beat the price. But as everything else in life you get what you pay for. I was pretty disappoined. There are a lot of flaws on the set. The gold trimming is off or none existing in a lot of the dishes. It was done in a cheap manner and it shows. But oh well I will use it without sweat if it breaks no heartbreak on my part. If your are looking to buy a set that makes the table looks good this will do it but don't expect too much. Also the serving platter and the bowl are very small.

Not started using them yet so I am not sure of the durability but it looks and feels great!

These dishes are beautiful porcelain, and good for everyday use, but very nice for formal dinners, too. In addition, eight 5.5-inch fruit dishes were thrown in free, so there were actually 57 pieces included. A great bargain!

This is first class product, a must have for nice dinner party's! Makes one feel there at the White House for dinner, only thing missing is haveing the Cheif in Command present! Love them!!!

Very nice dishes! Lovely and classy is how I would describe these. I have a gold flatware set I use with the set and it' looks beautiful. The dishes are easy to clean, very dishwasher friendly and so far after two months of consistent use still look like new. Also the company is great. I received a few defective pieces which they replaced promptly free of charge. Very happy with my purchase and with the company.

When I received this beautiful set a few days after my order I found that one dinner plate, 3 tea cups and a fruit bowl had slight mars on the gold rims. I called the number for Lorenzo Imports which clearly visible for problems. They did not quibble, complain or try to get out of replacing the pieces. They answered the phone promptly. In less than 5 minutes I was done and the replacement pieces were en route. I don't yet know how long it will take for them to arrive, as the logistics are sometimes different for replacement pieces, but it was refreshing in the extreme to receive customer service and not the usual battle. I have never written a review on a product before, but this impressed me enough to take the time. I highly recommend this company.

The dishes are just as beautiful in person as they are in the picture at Overstock. They are sophisticated and elegant and add just the right touch to any dinner party. There were a few pieces where the gold edge was flawed, but I call customer service at Lorenzo and they sent out replacements immediately. I couldn't be any happier with a purchase. Thanks, Overstock for carrying such a quality product at such a reasonable price!

This set is beautiful and very elegant and was more than I expected. I am very pleased with the purchase and I even purchased the glassware to match. I ordered these mainly for Christmas, but will use them for a fine dining dinner party.

This dinnerware is wonderful..looks and feels expensive without the expensive price tag. Some pieces might have some imperfections, but they are hardly noticeable unless you are looking very closely. The customer service of the manufacturer is excellent (just like Overstock.) They promptly replaced the pieces that were "unsatisfactory" to me. Thanks, Overstock, for selling another quality product at a reasonable price.

For a nice alternative to china this set is perfect. i bought it for a gift for my father who honestly will never use actual china so this was perfect to fill his china cabinet. it looks like china to the everyday eye. actually my sister in law said she may have to return her few sets of china she received for her wedding and purchase something similar to this.

First the process of finding the items we were looking for was very easy after shopping in the dept stores and seeing the same items for much more we checked out overstock.com pleased to have found the items but skeptical about what we would get (first time overstock shopper) we ordered and paid the (1 dollar shipping which is great!) the procduct came not in the 5-10 days as noted but in two days open the box and was greatly surprised to see the quality of the product the pictures did not do this product justice it was professionaly packed not one piece was broken, it looks great in our new china cabinet thanks overstock .com we will shop again

I was a bit skeptical to order; particularly considering the price. Based on the other write-ups, I took a chance. Am absolutely thrilled with them.....the design is exquisite and looks better than most of the expensive china we looked at in the stores. Haven't tried washing in the dishwasher yet, but will do so with the expectation they will do alright. One plate was broken, but don't expect problems replacing since directions were provided in case something happened. Wish I knew someone getting married cause I'd love to get a set for someone's wedding!

The dinnerware arrived ahead of schedule. The quality of the pieces well fit the proposed use. Each piece is nicely decorated and matches the picture. I would like to see access to additional serving pieces made available.

I am so happy with this set. It look like I paid a ton of $ for it.
