The purpose of a cover is for comfort, appearance, and cleanliness. This velour cover is incredibly soft and goes easily on the mattress pad because it is stretchy. The mattress should be 1st covered with a fitted sheet for cleanliness. Then the foam pad with a cover is set on top of it for comfort. There's no sliding around. The cover can be zipped off and on easily for machine washing. This cover has everything and I love it. I'm going to buy another so I can put a mattress pad on another bed.

I love the cover and the soft feel of the fabric, however it was too small to fit my queen size memory foam topper. I had to fold my memory foam topper around the edges to get it inside the cover and zip it up. Otherwise this product could be a 5 star rating. Why do they make them so small?
We slept on the memory foam and it was fine. We then put it into the topper and WOW! I thought the foam was hot to sleep on- and the topper fixed that. My linens didn't fit right- and the topper fixed that,too! I did have to make some adjustments. I now put a coordinated fitted sheet over the mattress and use the fitted sheet over the topper so that it doesn't pull away during sleeping. This purchase made the whole thing "work" for us.

The cover was easy to unzip and zip back on with two latex toppers inside. Seems work so far. After unpacking the latex I saw that placing it inside a cover is the only way to go. This one works!!
