I bought this rug pad because of it's environmentally-friendly claim and was thinking that it wouldn't be as good as some others, but it really is nice and sticky and does exactly what it's supposed to do - hold your rug in place. And bonus - it's environmentally-friendly.

This is a great rug pad. It is definately non-slip. I purchased it to go under my new shag rug. The rug doesn't move at all, even when playing Just Dance! I also like the fact that it is enviornmentally friendly.

I have a rug that we took the time to measure accurately and ordered this product; beware it runs a little smaller on the width. Also I read other reviews about having a tacky side and this does not; perfect for hardwood floors.

We liked your pad so much we bought 2 more. However, a friend told us she had a similar rubber-type pad that eventually 'melted' - if that's the right word - and left indelible marks on her marble floor. (We have wood floors.) I realize this pad is made from plant-based oils rather than petroleum, but your pad is also very sticky and I need some reassurance. Could it eventually do the same thing? Thank you for your interest. From the manufacturer: "Our ECO line is warranted not to mar the flooring in any way as long as the floors have not been stained, sealed or otherwise treated within the previous 6 months prior to the time the pad is initially used. Sometimes these treatments may lead to some slight transfer if the floors are not properly cured and enough time is given to completely dry.All our pads are safe for any hard surface with the exception of Terrazzo, Clay and other natural products that are very porous." Please feel free to contact us again with any further questions.

consumer reports recommends that a rug pad be no thicker than 7/16", how thick is this pad, if not to standard do you carry a oil based at that thickness in a pad for a 5'6" x 8'6" area rug which is under a dining room table and chairs.
Thank you for your time and consideration
