Some believe Starlight Over the Rhone is the first of the series of'Stars' painted by Vincent with Starry Night being painted the following year. In both paintings, the heavens are alive with the vibrancy of the stars contrasted by the dark blues of the sky.
Considered one of van Gogh's most remarkable works of art, all lines of Cafe Terrace at Night point directly to the center of the painting, drawing you into the piece. Though the painting seems dark, no black is used. Pay attention to the figure clad in white serving the twelve dark figures at the tables, one of whom stands with him and turns his back on him, and make your own conclusion as to what this painting is about.

I purchased these paintings for my son for his birthday, and we were very happy with them. The actual brushstrokes are not visible, but they reproductions are high quality. The frames themselves are almost worth the money that I paid for the set. . I wouldn't mind purchasing something similar for myself. I would recommend these to anyone if the quality is the same.

The 3 paintings arrived as described. I was a little disappointed in the gold color of the wooden frames. They appear more brown on the website. However the description does describe the frames as antique gold. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this Van Gogh collection set for my son. However, my husband and I are considering keeping them. They are really nice! We have a lot of art and originals and I would display these in a front room, not just a hall.

These were a beautiful set of paintings. They were a good size and I love that they are hand painted reproductions instead of just a poster of the original. It gives the paintings a more vibrant feel to it when you look at it. My only issue is that the manufacturer sent me a cracked frame and they could not send me a new one. Overstock was great and they gave me a partial refund to cover the total cost of re-framing all three paintings. It was a hassle, but the paintings were so great that it was worth the extra time.

The cafe picture isn't up to the quality of the other two pictures, the colors seem faded in places. The frames are very nice, they make a nice grouping.
