I purchased this bookcase along with the desk and chair to create a home office. Much more of a 'furniture' feeling which is what I was going for. Had my handyman put everything together which took him a little under four hours. The items are beautiful, well-made and really an excellent buy.

This is a VERY beautiful piece of furniture. Received it sooner than expected, and in PERFECT condition!! Very easy to assemble !! Looks fabulous with our traditional furniture in the den and music room, and couldn't be more pleased! Thank you, Overstock.com!!!

Nice wood, but came with a few minor scratches/chips and no assembly instructions. I've bought chairs from overstock before and have been pleased, but this was one of those purchases which made me wish I'd shopped locally and found a similar product which was delivered and assembled without issues. I might mark this up a notch once I figure out how to get it assembled, but out of the box it's a 2 or a 1 out of 5.
