We have named him Spot. We have cats and we suffer from 'tumble-fluffs', those little puffs of fur that float and sail round the floor. Spot takes care of them for us. We have not used the schedule timer so I cannot speak to that. He does NOT cover the entire room, every square inch is not vacuumed so an upright is needed (at least in our home) periodically. He makes a pattern and is especially good at walls and edges.

I got more dirt up with a broom right behind the vacuum.

This is a nice little vacuum to keep the dog hair up. My only complaint is the loudness of the vacuum.

We received our Robot Vacuum and put it right to work. We were amazed at how much dust and dirt it collected during its first run. We have hardwood and short knapp carpet in our home and it performed equally well on both. The unit does everything it is supposed to do and does it quite well. All in all this is a fun little robot and well worth the price. It is fun to follow it around and watches it in action.

my mom has the robo vacuum cleaner and we love it! We even named her. She is part of the family. I have hardwood floors and was hoping the mop would sweep everything up and then mop as well as the vacuum does. But I guess with us having 5 animals in the house a dust mop could not do the trick for what we needed. We will be purchasing the robo vacuum too. We just have to think of a good name for her.

When you pick this product up , it seems to be made cheaper then the iRobot ROOMBA but don't let that fool you. I bought two iRobot Roomba vacuums and BOTH of them laster less then a year. i then took a chance on this one and i still have it after 2 years and it still works. BUY IT.

This little robot is a time saver. I can't pull the upright out everyday and the Robotic Vacuum provides quick clean ups between the regular vacuuming. Works great on tile floors and transitions from carpet to tile. We are always amazed at how much it picks up - we thought we were pretty good housekeepers!

This vaccum works like magic. Cleans every corner and returns to his charger by itself, can be programmed to clean at certain hours. I may never have to vacuum again and we have 3 dogs. Highly recommended.

I was a little nervous about buying the iTouchless Automatic Robotic Vacuum Cleaner because to be honest it sounded too good to be true. I am so pleased I did though. It does a near perfect job of cleaning our floors which are all oak. We have too little dogs so there is always dog hair and the iTouchless vacuum gets almost all of it without us having to do anything. We tend to charge it up and then set it off in a room whilst we go to work. When we get back it has normally cleaned the room for us. Occasionally it gets hung up on something which is a little annoying but come on, there is a robot cleaning my floor whilst I'm at work! The best thing about it is that it takes care of most of the floor cleaning meaning that we can now have a quick run over the floor once a week or so rather than every couple of days. One downside is that the product only comes with a US power cable and it runs off 110v so if you are in the UK you will need to get a voltage converter that can change the input from 240v to 110v so you can charge it up. These are pretty readily availble though.

Don't waste your money on this product!!! For one it is very loud. Secondly it doesn't really pick up ANYTHING!!! You would pick up more with a lint roller than this. Another thing is despite what it says it does NOT clean all floor area. It gets stuck very very very easily. It will get stuck just on certain spots of the carpet and I do not have shag carpet just standard apt. carpet. I spend more time going and moving it to get unstuck than I would just vacuuming by myself. The batter power is crap. If you charge it for two days it will usually only have about 15 min run time. It also repetitively goes over the same spot over and over and over again. I don't know if all of these types of vacuums have these issues or if there is a reason why this one was only a 100 bucks but either way it isn't even worth 5 dollars. I am extremely disappointed in the purchase!

I have researched these vacuums since they first came out. Before investing in one I wanted to make sure they weren't a gimmick and were going to perform. Well, I have not been let down! I LOVE, LOVE LOVE my Roomba!!!! we have a fairly large home and it covers the entire bottom floor before going back to it's base for a charge. I am just amazed with the technology and how well it works. My husband was the biggest skeptic ever, and he is sold on it. Totally recommend this product!!!

We did a test between a more expensive 500 series and this one. What we found was it picks up more dirt . While we really liked some of the additional features the 500 has ....the bottom line was more suction in this little fellow. We named him , Broomhilda . Picked up dog hair on the hard surfaces and crumbs. We need to know where to get replacement pieces? Brush sweep...etc.

worst robotic vacuum on the planet, and that's being nice.... I owned the nvx-211 and this was incredible and also the other robotic vacuum with the same design. This vacuum got stuck, got, and need to be charged every time your turned around...

I previously had an IRobt Roomba which I loved and used for several years...almost daily. My first floor is hardwood and I have found it necessary to run the vacuum daily to keep the floors looking great. This was no substitute for the "real deal". I have since purchased the IRobot again and am very satisified. I will never attempt to get a cheaper version. There is nothing saved.

I was very enthusiastic about owning this remote control floor vac after reading some glowing reviews. However, it failed miserably in living up to my expectations. It does not do any of the things others owners claimed it would. I tried using it on tile and it would stop and start and stall where it hit the grout lines. It failed to transition from tile to low density area carpets; it did not want to run on low pile carpeting and it continued stopping and starting arbitrarily. I would strongly recommend that if you want to have a robotic auto cleaner vac, you consider "paying the big bucks" for a major brand name as I'm assuming they will work properly. I tried it and am returning it after the first very disappointing trial use. I have used Overstock in the past for other products which were terrific and I will continue to shop Overstock for good quality items and good prices. This particular item does not meet that description.

It does a fairly good job for no manual help. Got stuck on the top of the stairs and I had to move it, but at least didn't tumble down. We have a large house with large rooms and it's never ran out of a charge in an area or had the bin get too full. Would recommend to anyone looking for some extra help around the house.

I have 4 BIG dogs that constantly shed (2 French Mastiffs;2 English Bulldogs). Two minutes after I clean my hardwood (very dark) floors they are peppered with hair. I turn on this baby on afterwards and my house stays clean of dog hair (and dust) for a week or longer, until I weekly clean again. Great product, saves oodles of time, gets into deep corners, reliable, quiet, cleans great, all around a winner.

I don't usually review products, and I am slightly hesitant to write this because I have only had this for a couple of weeks and so cannot address any long-term issues, but so far this is an amazing thing. I have three dogs. Not the kind that you take to the beauty parlour for grooming, but the ones that shed all of the time, all over the house. I have a doggie door, so generally the only thing more visible on the floor than the fur is the dirt. To compound this, my partner has COPD so the mess isn't just unsightly, it also impacts her ability to breathe. I bought one of these little robot vacuums about five years ago and used it in our bedroom several times a week. I thought it was well worth the price and bought this when it stopped working. The old one was good; this one is amazing. It is programmed to run twice a day, but it also has a "spot clean": command that I use intermittently. It generally fills its dust bin on the first floor but it gets everything in there. I manually relocate it to the upstairs some days and it has plenty of room for that. It charges itself when it needs to and I have not noticed any reduction in power level as of yet. It has no problem getting over thresholds and power cables that stopped my old robot. I sort of miss my remote control, but that's just because I like remote controls - I haven't needed it. It *will* get caught it long, light cords, so I check for dangling USB cables and shoe laces, and I fold the raveling fringe under one of our carpets. The regular length fringe on the others has not posed a problem. It may slow down or die in the near future; no idea. But the honeymoon has been fabulous.

So far, this product works pretty well. The best thing about it is that you can put it down and just let it do its thing. It works pretty well on our wood and tile floors and works the best in open spaces. It does a pretty good job of maneuvering around the furniture, but works better if I put up the chairs and barstools. It doesn't do as well on our carpet which is about 1"cut pile, it kind of goes in circles and doesn't like furniture as much. It would probably do much better on berber type carpet. The biggest down side for me is it's kind of loud, so I prefer to start it upon leaving the house for a couple of hours. It's helping to keep up with pet hair, so I think it is worth the money so far.
