I own one of the wavier rug cleaners, but as I age it has become too heavy for me. I have to medium size dogs who occasionally have a accident on my wood floor or rugs. This cleaner takes out the stain and odor and is SO easy to use. The floors/rugs are almost dry since it vacuums up the extra wetness very well. The price was great too! I just love it!

I highly recommend this sweeper. I use it on our dark kitchen rug and tile in our home. It is light weight and convenient to use. It really picks up dry and wet debris.

my floors look worse after I clean with this machine than they did before! streaks everywhere, floors super wet. I usually have to give it another pass with a dry towel so it can dry up otherwise we have to wait 15-20 mins before we can walk around the house. would NOT recommend.

Lots of power and plenty of hose length make this a great choice for a garage vacuum. Enough for even a 3-car garage. The wet/dry capability comes in handy too. Tools are well designed and the tool caddy does its job well. You will be very pleased with this model.

I borrowed one from a friend to see how it worked on my tile floors as my house (1200 square feet) is all tiled and thought it would work on my tile floors but after getting mine I was dissapointed that it left streaks and I still have to dry the wet surface with a towel to prevent the streaking. So, I don't use it much as it is still a lot of work to get my floors clean and streak free.

I just love it. A former neighbor let me borrow hers, and I never looked back since... It is very easy to use, and finish off big areas very fast. Love that the floors get steemed and clean, but still are dry almost at once afterwards. No danger of slipping on wet floors. It's great.

Have only used it once so far, but it seemed to suck up a decent amount of dirt. My only complaint is that it is very loud, so maybe wear earplugs and use it when no one else is around. At first I thought the carpet seemed very wet when I was finished, but when I turned on the ceiling fan the carpet was mostly dry an hour later.

We moved into our home two years ago with two cats. We now have three. It's 1100 square feet (I think) and all wood floors. Which means for the first year and a half I swept almost every day. I kept little dust pans around the house and felt like it was a never ending process and it still never seemed clean. Hair was everywhere. So I decided to trade the cats for my Arte. Just kidding! We kept the cats and put this on our wedding registry. The cats even kind of like it and follow it around. I've never seen anything cooler than this - and I'm not a boring person! The box of collected hair/dirt is pretty big and if you use the robot on a regular basis you don't have to empty it with every use (though, I do). It can be programmed to start at a certain time daily but I just use it every few days. It does such a great job. It hops up onto thick carpets, has sensors to keep it from bumping into the pet water fountain (you shouldn't let it get wet), rubber edging, a tongue that comes out to get the corners clean!!, and if it gets caught on something it reverses and untangles itself. This is THE BEST GIFT IDEA for someone with pets, or an elderly person that has a hard time cleaning floors regularly. Honestly, it'd be good for anyone!

I hate vacuum but we need them. I'll never find a vacuum I enjoy using and I've tried them all from cheap to expensive. Personally I think I like the old industrial ones from Home Depots and things, those round wet/dry things. I use a carpet sweeper, mop and broom and only use a vacuum when I have to. Yes, this one is okay, and is light weight and I bought a ton of bags so I have them. I cannot find anything wrong with this so go ahead and get it.

Very hard to clean small areas and under furniture. Flexible hose (too short) has enormous tension, making me wish I had 3 hands. Solving that by getting the extension hose you see advertised is not straight forward, all that's readily apparent is a replacement, which is not what I need. I basically want to turn the upright into a canister to do anything but open areas. Initially found the care and use of the Dyson 25 difficult, made me wish for a step by step video for EVERYTHING. Got some wet drywall powder in it (not intentionally, thought it was dry); I have NO idea how to clean it out, so suction is diminished- as is appearance.

After months of looking at many other steam mops on the internet, I stumbled across this one and have found my favorite new cleaning tool. My house is all ceramic tile, and we use carpet runners to help cushion our steps in some places. My ceramic tile is not just plain ceramic tile, it is white and has pits to give it a speckle look of blue grey (to me it looks dirty even when it's clean). I had been using Swiffer wet pads for the last 4 years in our home after I got tired of using an old mop just pushing around dirt. I liked that the wet pads cleaned but didn't leave the floor feeling clean only sticky and after realizing all the times I bought them at $15 a pop I could have had this. So with permission (because it is more expensive than most) and my Mother's day gift I bought this. Pros: - Heats up fast -Has different cleaning pads for different jobs, as well as brushes to scrub (bristles are all one length, so didn't clean my grout, but I could tell was sanitized when using the pads) -Unit is easy to assemble, just one screw -Water tank comes off the unit for easy filling -Is light weight in my opinion, but you can feel the difference when the pads are soaked -CR motion is great for my tiles helps clean better than just steaming back and forth -Steam is hot enough to get rid of spots that have been on my floors for months (mudroom by backdoor has tiles that take up mud almost instantly, this removed it when Swiffer pads did not) -2 different steam options, green for carpets and wood flooring, red for tiles and harder to clean spots -Tank of water lasts about 15-20 minutes when just using the steam mop, when using CR motion mine unit uses more water, so refill more frequently when using this setting -Carpet glide helps refresh my carpet runners as well as help with stains when you spray your stain remover on the carpet, then run the machine over, then blot -Can tell the difference in the two different types of cleaning pads, the scrubbing ones have a weave in them and polishing ones are more of a loose microfiber -Throw the pads in the washer to get them clean, DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER -Extra pads are sold *** and well worth the price -When using CR motion it sounds a little less quitter than my vacuum (a video review it sounded like a tank) -Machine maneuvers great, mop head pivots all around to get into hard to reach places -Overall great steam mop Cons: -Removing pads and putting them back on when pads get to wet (I have solved this by lining the pads with the edges of the heating mat that you get, top to top edge for the first, bottom to bottom for the second, removing the old and then lifting the unit and placing it back down on the heating mat so that the pads are aligned) -Uses more water when in CR motion (in my opinion) -Scrub bristles included are not really for grout, but for more outside purposes -4 scrubbing pads and 2 polishing pads included. Not enough in my opinion, but that is why they sell extras. Overall I really enjoyed this mop, not really ideal for steaming mattresses or furniture as the inside pamphlets say, but really just for the floor. Do not store this with water in the tank. I have been using distilled water to make my unit last longer because we have hard water. Make sure to air dry pads and not put them in the dryer.

I have wanted a garage vac for a couple of years. After much review and research I decided on the Bissell for a couple reasons. 1) Wet/Dry Vac options, 2) reviews, 3) hose length and 4) the 12 amp motor. I am happy to report it is even better then I expected and my Husband was happy as well. Easy installation and a new toy for the garage. We have a 3 car garage he mounted it in the middle and the hose easily reaches all three bays. After he installed it I had to try it out and in less then 30 min I had thoroughly vacuumed out my mini van and his work car which were both in desperate need of detailing. We live in a rural area with lots of dirt and gravel which is lots or mud in spring and winter and it sucked the big chunks and the dust right up. The attachments that come with this are super handy as well and there are lots of them. This vac works like one at the car wash only now I can clean out my vehicles at home in my heated or in the summer air conditioned garage! I would recommend this garage vac to anyone. Thanks Overstock!

Lightweight, but does an excellent job of picking up lint, fuzz, etc...from carpet when vacuum is not necessary.

I love this sweeper. I have dogs and cats and it saves me tons of time with cleaning up the animal hair. It is lightweight, but sturdy. Easy to empty. Holds a lot before you have to empty it. It works much better on carpet however than on hard floors.

Cleaning a hope chest is much like cleaning other types of wood furnishings, including dressers. You should avoid soaking the wood and should, whenever possible, use products specified for use on wood (and safe for the wood's finish).
