I have 4 dogs and wool rugs (that I purchased at Overstock) throughout my house. When I vacuumed with my 3 year old Oreck, my carpets never seemed clean, the bags were a hassle to replace and there seemed to be a lot of dirty air coming out of the vacuum cleaner. I could not bear the thought of paying several hundred dollars for a vacuum but wanted a good one this time. I took a chance on the DC41 refurbished and could not be more pleased. All the claims about the suction power are true! My rugs look and feel almost new again. My daughter even noticed and asked me if I had them cleaned. The only negative was that the box which was delivered by FEDEX arrived covered in a sticky, gooey substance (like a slurpee) which someone covered with packing paper and tape. Thankfully the gooey mess did not penetrate the box and the vacuum appeared new with no visible wear on the wheels, dust bin or any other part of the machine. Having combined the already low "O" price with an internet coupon and free shipping, I received this quality product which looks and works like a new vacuum at a super low price. Thanks Overstock!

Great vacuum cleaner. Actually makes cleaning fun. I've owned it for 3 weeks and have vacuumed the house at lease 6 times. I've vacuumed/cleaned my car. You wouldn't believe how much dirt, cat hair, and human hair we have picked up. Very sturdy, has picked up nails, screws, plastic, paper, wood, pebbles and still runs amazingly. I've let a few friends borrow it and they love it.

I'm not sure if anyone REALLY enjoys moping their floors, but this wonderful product makes things so much easier. Within a matter of 15 minutes I had my large kitchen floor and small bathroom floors sparkling and squeaky clean. Heat up is super fast. A quick pass-over was all it took except for a few extra grimy areas I had to leave the machine sitting on and trigger activated for the 12 seconds recommended to clean heavily soiled areas. The machine is very easy to fill and the water tank still had half the water when I was done,. so no refilling necessary for me. The only issue I have is that I had to go over the extreme edges of the linoleum with a paper towel to pick up the dirt -- so the "edge" cleaning isn't great but it's a small price to pay for how well this machine cleaned my floors. If Bissell made this machine without the built-in vacuum, the cleaning cloth would extend further into the edges and I wouldn't have to clean up edges of the floors by hand with a paper towel.

I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. She said it has great suction. Much better than her previous vacuum. She also made the comment that the baby isn't afraid of it, which is a big plus. If my daughter, her husband and my grand-daughter are happy. I am very happy! Thank you! (My daughter lives in Seattle, WA.)However I purchased a 2 yr warranty and no paper work arrived with the vacuum and I have not received any paper work.

I've never owned a steam mop before, but was persuaded to try it out by a co-worker. Our new home is about 75% tile and we have a puppy who, at the time, wasn't yet housebroken... I was mopping with the mop & bucket at least once a day and it was getting old. Fast. Enter the HAAN SI-40 Swivel Head Floor Steamer. I still mopped daily, but the task was so much easier and healthier for my puppy than the old mop and bucket. And, IMO, the floors look and feel cleaner. Since you're only mopping with water, the floors no longer have that sticky film left behind from detergents and there are no streaks. A lot of people on here say it doesn't get out stuck-on grime, but I disagree. You may have to go over it two or three times (just like you would with a regular mop?!), but it does come up. If it doesn't, I seriously have to wonder what exactly is on the floor and how long it's been there. We've waited up to a week to clean spaghetti sauce off of our tile, and it came up with no problems. Of course, you'll need to clean up most of the large messes right away (like, ahem, if a puppy pees on the floor, you'd wipe most of it up with a paper towel first), but you'd do that anyway, right? I also like that it has the on/off button and that it hangs flat in the closet. The only flaw...and really, it's not a flaw, more of a preference...is that all the accessories don't fit together or anything. I have them all in a bag that hangs on the same hook as the steam mop, but it is annoying when it falls and everything comes tumbling out. Other than that, this is one of the best purchases I've made hands down. Soooo... there you have it. Seriously, this is the only way to go for fast, efficient and easy mopping!

You get what you pay for...I am very dissatisfied with the vacuum, it does not have nearly the suction advertized. THe price was relatively inexpensive so that should of been my first hint to keep on looking. I will just use this until I can afford a new one. Lesson learned DO NOT BOther with a refurb you are just purchasing someone else's problems. THe tools that come with it had been so used the brissels were all crushed and so they are not even useable. I had to pick up bits of paper by hand as the vacuum would just push them around and not suck-up. This is the second time I have gotten dissatisfactory merchandise from overstock...the order before I purchased slacks that were mismarked and when I tried to return I was refused. I may have to start shopping elsewhere. When I first started with Overstock they like all merchandisers were very helpful and merchandise well worth what you paid for it, now with becoming more popular they are selling and treating customers like crap...THere is a big chain out there (starts with a W) that does this and they are why I started using Overstock looks like they might be using the same CEO's and merchandising stratagies now....look out consumer and always remember "Caveat Emptor Fueit" Let the buyer beware, wish I had I would have the 107.00 to put toward something that worked!

I call it the carpet groomer because it does that. Makes my carpet look and feel clean. I gave it 4 stars on the style because it is heavy. When in tilting/operating position , I feel that its weight falls on my arms. It cleans all types of surfaces and that's why I chose it. I tried the dusting tool, but wasn't impressed - you still have to go back and dust surfaces with a wet paper towel/rag. Excellent machine for floor cleaning. Make sure to push the self propelled button when carpet cleaning.

If you have a sebo vacuum you need these bags, no spreading of dust or blowing any thing around the floor. They are in double lined paper very strong, I have never had one blow apart or rip. The price was excellent on the big o.

I bought this 30C7T machine because the Bissell I'd had at home had a malfunction of the foor and carpet brush disengaging and it was only because I'd forgotten to place the height lever on "high" while using the hose with attachments. So, it had gotten stuck digging into the carpet. Bissell stands by their products. This Bissell 30C7T Opticlean Pet model features the power button for the motor, but also has a separate power switch for the rotary brush. When it's off, there is not the danger of digging into the carpet while using attachments. The only thing is the cleaning of the machine is essential to optimum functions and it can be a bit messy. But, with wet paper towels it is "do-able." Be prepared to empty the canister every time it stops whirling the hair & dirt. Actually, it's a VERY nice vacuum cleaner! I am super-pleased with my purchase!

I was looking for canister vacuum with power and acceptable price for long time. Personally, I think it is so ridiculous to pay $500 and up for the vacuum, any vacuum. Because the name of the vacuum was unfamiliar I overlooked it. And one day I decided to read the reviews. I bought it. It was the right decision. Very powerful. I have dog and a cat and this little machine do the big job. Very quiet for vacuum with this kind of power. The bags are better. They are not cheap paper bags. Nice design. Beater-bar is steel and that is a plus. It is lighter than it looks. I love the indicator that tells you when the bag is full. Love this vacuum and wouldn't trade for any other especially at that price.

I was worried about buying refurbished. The vacuum did not come in its original package and the canister was a little cloudy instead of clear like it is in the stores, but there was a sheet of paper that told me where to go to purchase a new canister if I so desired. I did not because I wasn't worried. This machine was CLEAN, brand new in every other aspect and let's face it, the plastic would have gotten cloudy on the first use anyway. I love the vacuum cleaner and would highly recommend it to anyone in store for a quality machine.

This sweeper doesn't function as I recall sweepers working. We had a sweeper we used in the front area of our office which I recall working much better than this one, but perhaps this works best on commercial-type carpet and isn't so good for hardwood floors and/or medium to high pile carpeting. As far as the price, you really couldn't beat it, but I was somewhat disappointed in the fact that it'll often leave something there and I need to roll over it again and again in the same spot for it to finally pick up something. It's also not so fun to clean out! I found I had to wipe off the whole thing with a damp paper towel after empyting the two bins and cleaning the brushes. I like that it is lighweight and fairly compact. I like even more that it doesn't require power and is almost noise-free when using. It's nice to take this out instead of the big heavy vacuum when doing light cleanings. I didn't want to return it and do use it but clearly, its power is lacking and it's a far cry from a standard vacuum.

The unit I received is clean, no odor, and shows minimal use only on the roller. It is easier to use each time as I learn how to switch back and forth quickly from the hose to the roller head. I clean everything with my vacuum: the ceiling, furniture, cushions, lamp shades, and wood laminant flooring with a few low-pile throw rugs . The hose was stiff at first and difficult to stretch, but after just two uses it is loosening up. All the parts snap in easily with an audible click supporting their proper attachment. The suction is too strong for small, door-mat-type rugs, and I ruined one right off the bat so be careful. It does my hall runner beautifully. The canister is easy to pop out and empty, and I don't get dirty at all as someone stated. I simply give it a shake into a paper bag, fold top and take to outside toter . I used an Animal 25 first but decided on the Animal 49 due to larger canister and 10 ft longer cord. I'm very happy with my decision even though the 49 is heavier (not lighter as the description wrongfully states). I loved the smaller, lighter Animal 25 except for having to plug in to every single room and it fell over when I used the hose. The smaller head on the 25 fits easily into small spaces, and I miss that with the larger head on the 49, but I use the hose a lot and the 49 does not tip over for me. This vacuum gets very hot and it burned my foot to hold it down while using the hose. If I had wall-to-wall carpeting, I would choose the 25 (I have a bad back and neck) as there is quite a bit of difference in the weight between the two.

I have tiled slate floors as well as laminate wood flooring and the water in the tank after I cleaned both was so dirty I was shocked. The slate floor is uneven and that is a bit of a challenge for the Floormate only because of the peaks and valleys. It cleared it all with no problem but did not clean the low areas if there was a particularly high area near it. I have a dog so there is hair and mud for the Floormate to tackle, and it does so without issue. I did have to assemble, de-assemble and reassemble it as I did not do it tightly enough the first time and that caused intermittent usage but that was all me (be sure to push the handle in as tightly as you can). Also it does leave dirty water on the floor when you turn it off. Not a lot but enough that you will have to use a rag or a couple of paper towels to clean it up. If I had the time, or when I have the time, I will clean the floor twice in a row and see how dirty the water is on the second wash. That will be the real test. However, I will not complain as the water I dumped out really was dirtier than I thought it would be. So it is cleaning better than I knew I needed if that makes sense. Overall, I love it and would buy it again. As it does not totally meet my need for thoroughly cleaning the textured slate (not sure anything could) as well as leaving behind some dirty water once turned off, I gave it four stars.

It has great suction, but it is top heavy so it tips over alot; the hose is in the way all the time; the cord doesn't retract or have a clip to hold it out of the way; the brushes continue to turn and stay engaged while you are using the hand tools; if it wasn't for the fact that the hand tool for pet hair extraction works so well, I would return it in a heartbeat. It is quiter than most vacuums; and did I mention the suction is great. I will keep it and use it until it dies, which for me a typical lifespan on a vacuum is a year. It was $9 cheaper (on Overstock and free shipping) than ordering it from Wal-Mart and paying for shipping and having to go to the store to pick it up.

Let's face it. For the most part, bathrooms are not designed with storage in mind. There usually isn't any more storage than what the shelves behind the sink mirror can hold. Most floor plans require you to store the majority of your bathroom essentials in a linen closet down the hall. You need bathroom cabinets to store bathroom essentials like towels, shampoo and toilet paper. By investing in bathroom cabinets, you not only keep your bathroom organized, but you can keep your bathroom essentials right where they belong -- in the bathroom.
A quilt needs special care and maintenance. Whether you're displaying your quilt in the living room, using it as a bedspread, or carefully storing it in your closet, you can easily keep it looking its best for many years to come.
