Bobsweep is our second robotic vacuum. The first one (which was from a well known brand) didn’t clean our two area rugs at all, so after several months of frustration we eventually had to sell it online although we appreciated its work on the rest of the floorings (the rugs have dark patterns and after talking to the tech support we realized it would stop on them because it thought it was falling off an edge… We could live without the rugs being cleaned but the fact the it stopped each time it would go on a rug was way too annoying). After a few days of not having the robo assistant, we realized that we can’t really go back to manual vacuuming. It was impossible to imagine that we indeed used to vacuum manually before buying a robot! So we started researching to see what can be done and read online that Bobsweep has stickers that remedy the problem and it is true. They basically put the cliff sensors out of commission which ironically is exactly what we needed! Now Bobsweep does great on the two rugs (and of course the hardwood), however it eats up the fringes and they tangle up around its brush. We consulted the manufacturer who told us to tuck the fringes in which is what we do when we set Bob loose. Bobsweep’s dustbin is a lot larger than our previous robot and that is great! The mopping is also a feature our other robot did not have but we have not used the mopping feature yet since most of our hardwood is covered by area rugs.

I love this robot. I love her so much I named her Lucy. She is not loud, you can watch TV while she is running. If I want a deep cleaning I would still use my old vac,but when the grand kids leave, out comes the robot. I would buy Lucy again in a heart beat.

A skeptic no more! This robot really does work and now I don't have to work as hard. Don't try to figure out how it determines its path - it will drive you crazy. Just walk away and let it do its job. Do invest in more light houses - it works much better if it is confined to smaller areas at a time. With an open floor plan, I really need 3 lighthouses. Easy to dump the basket too.

Picks up the pet hair but continually bangs into the same objects over and over so we have to basically watch it continually. Our old robotic had a good memory board and strayed from the objects that it could not clear.

I purchased this robot after having a roomba for a few years. The roomba never worked that great and finally died. I went without for a year, but having three dogs, one with long hair, I decided to shop for another. When I priced the roombas and also the neatos I couldn,t believe the prices. They all started at $300 ! When I saw this on overstock and read the reviews I decided to order it but also bought the 2 yr. warranty for $15. It works great, better than the roomba ever did. It will get stuck in certain places but you learn where they are and you block them off. It will run for 1-2 hours on one charge I am very happy especially since it cost 1/3 of the price of the other brands.

UPDATE: I spoke to the seller and they said yes that my other vacuum charger is making this one confused when it is trying to find its home which is not a big deal for me because I can easily guide it to the charger but I wanted to mention this. Also; I mention that the remote is small and the seller told me there is another model with a larger remote available so keep that in mind as well. I purchased to vacuum on ****** but I also wanted to leave my review here because I love my robot vacuums. This is my second robot vacuum and I see features that I really like with this one more than my current one and a couple things I think could be better. First, this is definitely best for hardwood for solid floors. It did clean a little on my area rug but not as well as a standard vacuum. The reason for this is because it does not have a spinning brush like your standard vacuums do. This means that it is better for your hardwood floors because it will not damage them but it doesn't work as well on rugs because there is nothing there to get down into the pile no matter how short it is. The controls on this are easy to use and I have a fondness for electronics that talk to you which this does. It is easy to clean There are two filters including one hepa filter which is nice because I have allergies It is programmable so you can schedule it to start cleaning at a certain time every day (make sure your floor is cleaned up first, something my kids have a difficult time with) It is powerful. This is a much stronger vacuum than my current one. It's so strong it was actually able to move my barstools and get up and over my 1" high marble threshold There is a virtual blocker. My current vacuum just loves to clean under my bed which would be a good thing but we have an adjustable bed so it gets caught on the cords. If it had a virtual blocker like this one I could keep that from happening. It seems that the blockers works fairly well but I'm not sure it works 100% of the time. It charges itself. Once the robot notices that its battery is about to die it will quit cleaning and find its way back to its base to charge. Mine seems to have a slightly hard time finding its base when it is at the other end of the room but I wonder if it is picking up the signal from my other vacuum. It has a remote. This is handy but I wish the remote were bigger. My other one is big and round which makes it harder to lose; I could see myself losing this remote easily. Maybe even an app would be great for when I inevitably lose my remote. This is a fast vacuum. it is way more zippy that my other one but that doesn't seem to have an effect on its cleaning ability. I think that is pretty much the basics of this. There is a lot to this vacuum but that is a good thing and the directions are very good and easy to understand. Overall, if you have hardwood floors, especially if you don't have an area rug but even if you do, this is a great vacuum.

An unexpected bargain - I was shopping for something else and ended up buying this- I LOVE it! I have it programmed to vacuum everyday - it has the UV light to kill bacteria, the mop option a remote control for manual cleaning - also included replacement brushes. Much better than the "other" robotic vacuum that was nearly triple the price that my mother owns. This of course does not replace your deep cleaning, regular vacuuming, but none the less, I'm in LOVE.

This is my 2nd robot vacuum. I have been loving this as it needs way less maintenance due to its large brush and dust bin. It works great on carpet and rarely gets stuck.
