  I had bought and used a Hoover carpet cleaner in the past and in this same price range. It was terrible. This machine is 10 times better and does a terrific job! It cleaned up my office carpet quickly and actually removed the tough soiled areas of the carpet the Hoover could not/would not clean. Biggest positive is that you can see it sucking up the carpet dirt as it works. The suction leaves your carpet nearly dry when you're finished - astounding!!

  i had numerous( 3 ) proffessionals do carpets in years past and feel i do a better job then them all. follow mixture on products used and u will be happy with results.

  we've had it a month and i've used dyson's in my workplace for years. this refurbished one acts just as a new one, so far.

  I first saw this at best buy and thought it was it would be nice to have and use especially haing a 2 story house, and knowing how hard it is to vacuum the stairs with an upright vacuum. But it was pretty costly. About 3 weeks later I saw it on overstock for half the price and immediately bought it. It wasn't a refurbished unit, it was brand new. I was so impressed. For a battery powered vacuum Dyson really knows how to do it. It has so much power. I was very impressed on well it the suction is even on my carpets. It did just as well as my electric vacuum (Shark-which I'm happy with, can't afford the bigger Dyson yet) so for those quick jobs you need to every other day or so I would recommend this. Totally worth the money. I wish Overstock would come down a little more on the other Dyson's.
