Finally ..... a vacuum that doesn't break my back hauling it around! The vacuum works quite well considering its compact size. I'm glad it arrived in working order. It was left on my front porch with one side of its carton totally missing. Looks like it suffered from some pretty heavy-handed warehousing or shipping folks. Despite being exposed to the world before being unpackaged, it works well. I also purchased a service agreement which has yet to arrive. I don't know what the holdup is.....maybe they are as careful with the paperwork as they were with my shipping box!

This vacuum is nice quality, and I have to say it really gives carpets a good cleaning. It combs your carpets and rugs without sucking them up into the belt..be aware it is heavy and figuring out the switching for bare floors and carpets might be tricky for some at first. If you have stairs to sweep this is not a good vacuum for that, too heavy. I would recommend a dustbuster for that :) Works great!

Easy to use, powerful suction! Pet attachment is great for couches and other upholstery.

This is an amazing little vacuum. It has great suction, and it gets into small places too. I don't think it's any louder than any other vacuums I have had. The only problem is where to store it, the long hose is hard to put away, and the cord wrap on the bottom is not very convenient. But it is worth the price, really works great.

Compact, light and easy to handle. Storage is not a problem. We use it to clean our car and most of the time carry it with me to work to clean my office. It is very convenient to use and clean. We are loving it.

I had read other reviews saying this product was inferior to Eureka models, so I was hesitant to purchase initially, but the price for the refurbished model was too good to pass up. I have always loved the power and lightness of weight of Eureka's, but every one I've had has broken because of cheap plastic parts that are difficult to take apart to empty. This vacuum turns out to be a gem. Although heavier than what I'm used to, the pickup is stellar. The power paw leaves my futon without a single dog hair! It even retrieves the ones that weave their way into the fabric of the cover. I love the grab and go feature, too, and the cord is plenty long. It's very easy to empty, but sometimes takes a few minutes to put back together because the upper yellow filter falls down and needs to be twisted back up somehow. And it is in excellent asthetic condition for having been refurbished. This has not been my experience when similar products were purchased elsewhere.

Love this vacuum! Only thing I wish it had a brush floor attachment instead of the roller it has.

This vacuum cleaner is as light and powerful as it claims to be. It is much louder than I expected. The floor attachment is difficult to control, even on bare floors. It's as though the power of the suction almost makes it stick to the floor. The upholstery attachment is a bit too small, doubling the amount of effort to get the dog hair off a sofa. I guess one gets what one pays for.

We bought this because we wanted to see what all the hype about a Dyson was and we've been VERY disappointed! The $60 Eureka we have does a GREAT job picking up pet hair, dust and filling its canister up really quickly... thus letting you know it's cleaning. If I use this vacuum first, it doesn't get nearly as much stuff up off the carpets. I will say that the Dyson does a great job on the hardwood floors though. But I tend to go back after using the Dyson and use the Eureka and it picks up so much more left by the Dyson. Weight of the Dyson is very nice. The hose system is also horrible, because it has such a stiff handle system attached to it.

In the past I purchased small vacuums but ended up returning them because of poor quality. The Eureka Mighty Mite is a sturdy and a powerful vacuum. Even the plastic used is very sturdy.

I rarely take the time to write a review, but this vacuum is AWESOME. We have a really expensive hepa vacuum, but the Eureka Boss does an even better job at picking up the dirt than our far more expensive vacuum does. I've been looking for a new vacuum for a couple of years, because ours is 10 years old, and I ddn't want to pay full price for a new one when it finally dies. Eurkea Boss' price can't be beat. And its vacuum works better than the far more expensive vacuums.

Does an excellent job on carpet. Loud and bulky. but sweeps great. Long cord allows sweeping several rooms before unplugging and moving cord.

Have always had good luck with this brand in the past. Will see after a couple of months if it is still as good as previous Eureka vacs.

I bought this for my daughter. She was very pleased, and loves it! It is lightweight and easy to use! Looks cool too! Great value for the money!

I think this is a great value. It is quite heavy for lugging up and down stairs though. It is perfect is you are looking for something with a lot of suction and a good value. Performs as well as a Dyson I use to have. Description should give the weight though, since I have two floors, I will have to purchase something light weight for the second floor. Not what I wanted to do.

I needed a small vac just for my kitchen and purchased the Eureka Mighty Mike Canister Vac. WOW - was I surprised at the suction power of this little guy. It is so lightweight that I've found many other uses for it, especially stairs. Also, the wand seems extra long so I don't have to bend over at all when vacuuming, a plus for my bad back. I had purchased several small upright vacs (electric & cordless) and was disappointed with the performance of each, so I was a bit skeptical about this vac, but it turned out to be a great purchase.

Just received the vacuum 4 days ago and used it to vacuum most of my house since then. The foot control to unlock the handle to allow it to tilt from the base of the unit is pretty stiff and requires effort to unlock. I was initially worried about breaking something when pressing the unlock button to use the floor/rug vacuuming portion. Tried to use the vacuum to vacuum under my bed, but the unit is too tall to get more than a few inches under the edge of the bed. The attachments are all pretty small and using them under the bed or other similar furniture would take forever. Checked Eureka's website and found an attachment called a 'floor tool' for about $11 (about $19 total when you include shipping). I expect the floor tool to allow me to vacuum under the bed. Wish Eureka had included the floor tool as a standard attachment. The rotating brush for use on rugs does a great job. There is an attachment called a Power Paw which is a 4 inch wide tool that has a built in brush for vacuuming rug areas too small to use the main vacuum. The vacuum has a built in HEPA filter which needs to be replaced every 6 months for about $25. The two piece 'wand' with one wand stored inside the other is a neat solution to storing both on the vacuum. Cleaning of a standard stair way with 11 stairs will be a challenge as the vacuum is supposed to be placed at the bottom of the stairs and the hose and two wands together used to vacuum the stairs. I could only vacuum to first 6 stairs before exceeding the reach of the hose and wands. Tried placing the vacuum on a higher stair, but it was unstable and would likely fall if I tried to use it that way. All in all, the is a very good vacuum for the price and I would recommend it to anyone need to replace and old vacuum.

This vacuum cleaner works fine but a major design flaw is the 2-step process to recline the handle so that you are also selecting Carpet as opposed to Bare Floor. It "tricked" me several times before I got the knack of it. Cleaning power and suction seem to be fine.
