I was a little nervous about buying the iTouchless Automatic Robotic Vacuum Cleaner because to be honest it sounded too good to be true. I am so pleased I did though. It does a near perfect job of cleaning our floors which are all oak. We have too little dogs so there is always dog hair and the iTouchless vacuum gets almost all of it without us having to do anything. We tend to charge it up and then set it off in a room whilst we go to work. When we get back it has normally cleaned the room for us. Occasionally it gets hung up on something which is a little annoying but come on, there is a robot cleaning my floor whilst I'm at work! The best thing about it is that it takes care of most of the floor cleaning meaning that we can now have a quick run over the floor once a week or so rather than every couple of days. One downside is that the product only comes with a US power cable and it runs off 110v so if you are in the UK you will need to get a voltage converter that can change the input from 240v to 110v so you can charge it up. These are pretty readily availble though.

We did a test between a more expensive 500 series and this one. What we found was it picks up more dirt . While we really liked some of the additional features the 500 has ....the bottom line was more suction in this little fellow. We named him , Broomhilda . Picked up dog hair on the hard surfaces and crumbs. We need to know where to get replacement pieces? Brush sweep...etc.

Great little vac for the price. Doesn't compare to the Roomba 560 that I own but at a third the price it does a fine job on hard floor and low nap carpet.

I purchased the robotic vacuum cleaner for my small appartment where I stay during the week while working. This little machine is great! This cleaner costs half of the other brand in local stores. I just turn on and forget it. When I come back to the place all I do is dump the collecter into the trash and plug the vacuum back in to charge. I can use the remote control to clean the particular spots that it missed. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase on Overstock.com. Shipping was lightening and almost free!

I love my Dyson! I only gave it 4 stars because the cannister is small and has to be emptied frequently.

Perfect for everything except kitty litter. Sometimes you'll need to vacuum the room a second time, but not if you use it every other day. By the way I have cats, that's why.

This was a great idea for myself due to my illness and the many animals that we have. It works so perfectly on our hardwood floors and also on our berbur (sp) carpeting as well. I have waited for the price on this to get down to a more affordable cost and when it did, I couldn't wait to get it. Even my husband loves the idea of it and how well it cleans. He actually sets it and lets it go. I really works better than I could even have guessed. Thank God for this invention. My illness is severe and I cannot do the normal household cleaning without a lot of pain. But with this my life just became 60% cleaner and less stressful also.. It drove me crazy to look at all the hair and knowing I couldn't really do anything about it without sweeping daily. At least now the floors look awesome on a daily basis and I don't feel like my friends and family think I am lazy. GOD BLESS THIS ROBOT VACUUM. It's truly worth the money.

Seriously. My floors have never been cleaner. I have all wood floors on the first level of my home - and a kitten who sheds a lot. I buy the ******** dry and wet cloths to use with it. Of course it gets stuck on wires - it's a robot. If you were swiffering yourself - YOU'D GET STUCK ON WIRES! Anything that drags on the floor will if there are, in fact, wires resting on the floor. Luckily, there's an easy solution - take care of your wires! Don't blame it on the robot. I did just that (I have three lamps on a sofa table, so I taped the wires to the back of the cabinet. Now the Braava goes right under the couch. Let's face it - you probably almost never clean under your couch, because that would involve getting down to some crazy angle or moving the couch, neither of which is fun. Who wants to waste time cleaning floors anyway? That's why Braava is amazing. Charges quickly. Battery lasts forever. We do two dry mop cycles and then two wet mop cycles and it typically is almost dead by the end. Just pop on a cloth, set it down, place the cube somewhere pointing into the room and press the button. Braava takes off working hard while you go make yourself a martini. When she's done, she'll play a little tune and head back to where she started. Can't recommend enough.

I have looked at these online for awhile and was hesitant to purchase one due to the lay out of our house. We have a large downstairs area with hardwoods that is divided into several smaller areas without doors. I did not think it would be able to navigate due to the complicated lay out. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it did make it through all the rooms and did a really nice job on the hardwood floors (which can get pretty dirty with carpet dust and pet hair) It did run out of battery the first time(we used it right out of the box) but that has not happened since. It also comes with a virtual barrier, which makes it convenient to isolate a smaller area for cleaning. We are very happy with this purchase.

First things first: my mover STOLE my original Animal Vac, it's that good. He saw it in action, and somehow, after I myself placed it on the moving truck, it was missing when we unloaded at the new house. And I never heard from him again, despite several calls. That is the ONLY reason I had to get a second one; the first was still working exceptionally well, and I was beyond pissed at not having it at the new place. Now, for the review. I have three dogs - a Saint Bernard rough coat (long haired), a Newfoundland (again, long hair and double coated) and the Beagle. I *also* have 10 cats. And I have two horses. As you can imagine, tons of dirt gets into my house, along with a lot of shedding and hair from all critters. And since the litter I use is pelleted horse stall bedding (it absorbs incredibly well, and does not give clumps that stick to things), and it gets tracked all over this place. And most of the summer the windows are open, which allows tons of dust and pollen and various other things in...as you can see, I need a vacuum that will take care of business. I have all hardwood floors (except the bath and kitchen), so getting up the grit and whatnot from boots, paws, and other things which come in is critical in keeping them in good shape. I got the original vac 4 years ago in my old place, and it had carpet throughout the house. I have to say this vac handles BOTH types of floors (linoleum and tile, too) incredibly well. The attachments are easy to switch out, so I can get cobwebs and dust vultures (you know, those not-cobwebs which hang down and lurk you from the ceiling corners) and of course dust bunnies all cleared out very quickly. I also run the vac over the upholstered furniture and curtains, and anywhere else I can. This vac is a sure bet, each and every time. I bought it again, even though it was expensive. I bought it AGAIN. That alone should tell you how good this machine is. I have even used it on my car, and in the bed of the truck, after treks to the barn and beach for a summer ride in the ocean...and it got all the sand, dirt, hay bits, and dried manure out of both car and truck. I'm not impressed; I actually call this my magic machine, and have NO fear of things on shoes being brought into the car or house. I just grab the vac and voila, things disappear. Buy it. You won't be disappointed at all. And if you can score the refurbished units, they are just as good as a brand new one. But don't hesitate; if it can handle all my extreme dirt needs, it can surely handle a normal household's dirt needs, too.

I love my new robotic cleaner. I told my husband that he is my new boyfriend. He vacuums under the furniture and never complains. He can bump into furniture edges a little hard, but never hurts them. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, I am amazed how he still finds hair after I run a conventional vacuum sweep. He is worth every penny! I am going to buy one for my mom...she needs a boyfriend too!

So easy to use for daily touch ups. 2dogs 4 cats too much hair, but this unit works fine. It runs for about 15-20 minutes on a charge which is all I need for half the house. I use it every day.

I had iRobot , was very happy till I got 9 beeps ... long story , it is the main problem in iRobots as I know now and it is hard to fix .... Well then saw online this vacuum robot , ordered it , delivery was very fast , the robot looks pretty much like iRobot but there are few unpleasant surprises : 1) it was said it feels stairs , it is not . It fall , parts and dust were everywhere around , however when I cleaned the mess and attached parts the robot worked fine ... 2) it is a bit higher than iRobot so it stuck under my couch and I had to move furniture to get it ...3) it cannot step on a carpet , just turns around , small rugs like bathroom rug is a big obstacle too... 4) if you have some wires on a floor , this vacuum will be on that spot forever ...till you will come for help . I miss my iRobot , still have hope to fix it some day , this new one I use only in my bedroom as it cleans dust under the bed ... Kids like this iTouchless it is fun to manipulate using remote control , it turns and moves where you want ... however my point was to leave this machine alone when we are not home ...

I got this to help out when I didn't have the time to sweep since I'm a new grandmother I wanted the floors to be free of those things my grand daughter would want to pick up and "taste". It works pretty well on my hard wood floors. It just has some trouble going over the fairly thick wood that separates my living from my dining area. It tends to get stuck and will shut itself off which is a good feature.

I love this vacuum cleaner- I had a different brand that cost 3 times as much as the Shark. The Shark removed pet hair and dirt from my floors that the other model had missed. It is easy to use and does a superb job. A powerful machine- I love it! Have already gotten 4 friends to buy one.

Yes, that's right..we named her after the Jetsons Robot housekeeper, Rosie. She works just as hard! We have two 70lb American Bulldogs and 1 55lb English Bulldog and Rosie allows us to stay on top of the constant fur balls!! Rosie is smart enough to spit out cables and any loose items on the floor. Even successfully maneuvered over and around the Christmas Tree Skirt! You'll still need to do a proper vacuum weekly, but this allows us to have guests over at a moments notice and not be embarrassed by any fur-tumbleweeds! Best gift to myself in YEARS!!!!

I had an ********** ********* in the past and before it stopped working - I LOVED and then I MISSED not having a robot vacuum. I spent more money for my ********* and have not been able to find someone that can look to see if it could be repaired so after going a few years (close to 6 years) I couldn't stand it any longer. I did my research and with the pros and the cons; after having a robot, I knew I could live without the automatic go back to the charger when the vacuum runs out of battery. I have 4 dogs that go in and out all day long and can never go bare foot. With exception to one bath, and 3 rooms with carpet, I use the ITouch for the rest of my house. I walk barefoot as I set up the whole house removing things and just do your normal stuff you would do if you were pushing a vacuum. I can feel how dirty the tile is throughout... I turn on the ITouch and let it go!!! While it's going I'm doing my other stuff and I am vacuuming at the same time via ITouch... When it runs out of battery I again will walk barefoot and my floors feel great!!! With 4 dogs "I know" the floors will again get dirty and I will again walk with sandals or socks but that's how it were already when I spent time pushing a vacuum. I would always before my ITouch vacuum as far as the electrical cord would reach - and continue as I had time to vacuum again as far as the electrical cord would reach and just pick up vacuum where I left off. Thus, with the dogs it was again an all day thing if I were going to have clean floors. With the ITouch I at the least get a one time complete vacuum and when the battery dies? I pick it up and clean it thoroughly and plug it back in to charge. Doesn't matter to me it takes several hours to charge cause at least I used it once for the day for a great clean up and I wasn't pushing my other vacuum all day long before...I use it a second time in the evening. Too many other things to be done to vacuum all day long with these dogs... The ITouch came with a remote and I don't have the need for a remote. It does get stuck occasionally where the tile may be a little uneven but I just give it a nudge. It does occasionally get stuck under my kitchen cabinets and again I just give it a nudge. My much more expensive ********* got stuck occasionally as well... No big deal for me cause my floors today since the ITouch is better than it's ever been in the last 6 years. I will still use my push vacuum to get in the areas the ITouch cannot easily reach but for me the ITouch is a blessing to have. No big deal for me to have to pick it up to charge cause I need to clean it before using again anyway with these FOUR DOGS. Boston Terrier, two Border Collies, and a small Mutt and ALOT OF DOG HAIR... Get one and you will not be sorry so long as you comprehend that a Robot will never get everything... My push vacuum didn't either UNTIL I MOVE THINGS AROUND... I'm very happy and pleased with my $XXX.XX purchase :)

I love this vacuum!!!!!! I would recommend anyone to buy a Dyson, I was nervous spending the money especially on a refurbished product but when I got it in the mail and took it out of the box you would never know that it wasn't brand new. It looked like it was brand new and it was very easy to put together. I have had this vacuum for about 3 weeks and can't believe it has taken me this long to purchase one. I even took it over to my friends house and couldn't believe the dog hair it picked up on her brand new carpet that she had only had 4 days. I have mostly wood and tile flooring and love the bare floor button that stops the brush from rotating so it doesn't scratch the floor, it works amazingly on my area rugs and furniture getting out the dog and cat hair. The only thing I would change about the vacuum is that the cord isn't as long as my other vacuum.
