I had an ********** ********* in the past and before it stopped working - I LOVED and then I MISSED not having a robot vacuum. I spent more money for my ********* and have not been able to find someone that can look to see if it could be repaired so after going a few years (close to 6 years) I couldn't stand it any longer. I did my research and with the pros and the cons; after having a robot, I knew I could live without the automatic go back to the charger when the vacuum runs out of battery. I have 4 dogs that go in and out all day long and can never go bare foot. With exception to one bath, and 3 rooms with carpet, I use the ITouch for the rest of my house. I walk barefoot as I set up the whole house removing things and just do your normal stuff you would do if you were pushing a vacuum. I can feel how dirty the tile is throughout... I turn on the ITouch and let it go!!! While it's going I'm doing my other stuff and I am vacuuming at the same time via ITouch... When it runs out of battery I again will walk barefoot and my floors feel great!!! With 4 dogs "I know" the floors will again get dirty and I will again walk with sandals or socks but that's how it were already when I spent time pushing a vacuum. I would always before my ITouch vacuum as far as the electrical cord would reach - and continue as I had time to vacuum again as far as the electrical cord would reach and just pick up vacuum where I left off. Thus, with the dogs it was again an all day thing if I were going to have clean floors. With the ITouch I at the least get a one time complete vacuum and when the battery dies? I pick it up and clean it thoroughly and plug it back in to charge. Doesn't matter to me it takes several hours to charge cause at least I used it once for the day for a great clean up and I wasn't pushing my other vacuum all day long before...I use it a second time in the evening. Too many other things to be done to vacuum all day long with these dogs... The ITouch came with a remote and I don't have the need for a remote. It does get stuck occasionally where the tile may be a little uneven but I just give it a nudge. It does occasionally get stuck under my kitchen cabinets and again I just give it a nudge. My much more expensive ********* got stuck occasionally as well... No big deal for me cause my floors today since the ITouch is better than it's ever been in the last 6 years. I will still use my push vacuum to get in the areas the ITouch cannot easily reach but for me the ITouch is a blessing to have. No big deal for me to have to pick it up to charge cause I need to clean it before using again anyway with these FOUR DOGS. Boston Terrier, two Border Collies, and a small Mutt and ALOT OF DOG HAIR... Get one and you will not be sorry so long as you comprehend that a Robot will never get everything... My push vacuum didn't either UNTIL I MOVE THINGS AROUND... I'm very happy and pleased with my $XXX.XX purchase :)

Love, love, love our Rosie Roomba Robot! What a great time saver...just push the button and go about your business. She travels from the wood floors and over the carpet with ease, picking up everything which includes dog fur which is ridiculous in our house...we have a Shetland Sheepdog that sheds madly. This is the best purchase I ever made!

I love this robot. I love her so much I named her Lucy. She is not loud, you can watch TV while she is running. If I want a deep cleaning I would still use my old vac,but when the grand kids leave, out comes the robot. I would buy Lucy again in a heart beat.

The robot does its job for dog hair and light dust, but does not pick up the heavier stuff. Still have to dust in the corners, but to be expected. Great value compared to the more expensive brands.

I received my Dyson vacuum cleaner yesterday afternoon and used it for the first time today. I was extremely pleased with its performance. The instructions provided were clear and relatively easy to follow. I made one mistake; however. When releasing the bin, I didn't realize that the entire bottom opens and spilled some of the dirt on the just cleaned carpet. So far, so good. Also, I was able to register the product online as there was no registration card included. I already have two i Robot Scheduler Roombas (one upstairs and one downstairs), but have found that ever-so-often, I need to use a vacuum as well. I expect this one to perform better and last longer than my other upright vacuums (which I still have).

This unit is good for hardwood floor or tile floor cleaning. It mops dust well from the floor. Hobo 620 vacuums pet hairs well via two side brushes and has good suction power with HEPA filter. It also provided for spot or edge cleaning. My large house has hardwood floor, tile floor and carpet. I used it without mopping pad for the carpet. But used the mopping pad for the hardwood or tile floor. The added UV light blocking feature is really a good bonus for a room cleaning. It meets my expectation.

I bought this iRobot because I'm just plain lazy. It does the work while i'm working on something else. That alone makes it worth its weight in gold. It's not perfect. II does clean in a crazy zig zag pattern in the room and it misses stuff on the carpet because of this. I sometimes run it twice on a heavy traffic carpet area, and even then I still have to pick up stuff with my hands. It can go right over little tufts of cat fur. It seems to do better with hardwood floors. I do rearrange the room before activating it. I move the coffee table out of the middle of the room otherwise it doesn't really do a great job vacuuming around the perimeter due to the crazy zig zag pattern. It manages to pull out of the wall the protector that is screwed into the wall behind the door. For these reasons, I don't really do much "scheduling"; just run it when I'm working at home. The virtual wall beacons work well for the most part; I could use a 3rd one because of the configuration of an open-space area (but I suppose I could buy one separately). All in all, it's worth it to me to use the iRobot. It vacuums a room much longer than I would. If they ever made a "smarter" vacuum (like Miele vacuum which unfortunately results in constant error messages according to reviews) that would vacuum more methodically and efficiently, I would buy it. Also, my cats were initially terrified but now they walk past it when in operation.

I would recommend all people who have never tried irobot before to give i-robot a try. Not necessary this particular series, but just try to have a i-robot to do the regular vacumn for you. It doesn't deep clean your space, but it is good enough for regular maintainance. It saves you time and energy for family time, or sth else. For us, it saves us money too. We used to hire a cleaning company to come in every two weeks to do the vacumn plus others. But now the robot is doing most of the maintainance, i can have them come in once a month instead. That is a $100+ saving a month. Fran

Seriously. My floors have never been cleaner. I have all wood floors on the first level of my home - and a kitten who sheds a lot. I buy the ******** dry and wet cloths to use with it. Of course it gets stuck on wires - it's a robot. If you were swiffering yourself - YOU'D GET STUCK ON WIRES! Anything that drags on the floor will if there are, in fact, wires resting on the floor. Luckily, there's an easy solution - take care of your wires! Don't blame it on the robot. I did just that (I have three lamps on a sofa table, so I taped the wires to the back of the cabinet. Now the Braava goes right under the couch. Let's face it - you probably almost never clean under your couch, because that would involve getting down to some crazy angle or moving the couch, neither of which is fun. Who wants to waste time cleaning floors anyway? That's why Braava is amazing. Charges quickly. Battery lasts forever. We do two dry mop cycles and then two wet mop cycles and it typically is almost dead by the end. Just pop on a cloth, set it down, place the cube somewhere pointing into the room and press the button. Braava takes off working hard while you go make yourself a martini. When she's done, she'll play a little tune and head back to where she started. Can't recommend enough.
