  It does a good job cleaning. The container is a bit small and requires frequent emptying. The best part about it is how lightweight it is, and the suction. The worst part is the high pitch noise when its in 'carpet' mode, I absolutely have to wear earplugs, but I liked the machine so much as compared to my old vacauum, I decided to live with this inconvenience.

  I wanted to buy a Dyson before but the cost held me off. I purchased this refurbished one and it looked absolutely brand new. I am amazed and embarrassed at how much dirt this picks up. It is true that you will have to empty the bin more often that with your old vacuum. One of the best features is its self-adjusting ability to go from rug to floor. That saves LOTS of time. My only complaint is that when detached, the hose is not very long so you can't get very far away from the machine. It would be nice if a longer hose attachment were available.

  My neighbor borrowed my vacuum cleaner and forgot to bring it back before he left on vacation. Nice neighbor by the way. So I know from experience that when I order from OverStock.com I can count on the product delivery within a week. I though, "I can make it that long before I need to vacume next". Sure enough, it arrived here five days after I ordered it. Product is better then the $300 vacuum cleaner (use to have..... remember the neighbor) and easier to remove and cleaner cup. Ordered another one for my cabin.

  Based on reading other reviews, I purchased the Hoover WindTunnel. My last vacuum was refurbished, so I felt confident in buying refurished again. Unfortunatly, this product did not meet expectations. It came well packaged, with no dents or scratches, however, the suction was very poor. I was expecting a strong machine, but this vacuum had barely any pull. In addition, it was very loud. Therefore, I returned it.
