After seeing this item online and seeing them installed on DIY type shows I decided to take the plunge and purchase the Shower Panel. It looks great, it was shipped immediately by overstock and was 100% intact upon arrival. My case is unique, most people were either re-doing their bathroom or having this put in a new house, I decided to do neither and just put it in my current Stall Shower. I am satisfied with the overall look and the workings of the shower panel, but in the future I would have done two things differently: 1. I would look for a panel that has the ability to use the shower head and the spray heads simultaneously. These often cost double or triple the cost of the VIGO system, but I think if you're going to take the time and spend the money you want the total experience. 2. I would have in looked into what it takes to install one of these prior to purchasing it. These items have a valve system already in place . . . which I did not realize (probably could have done more research and read the fine print). Since the valve system was already in the panel I had to have my current valve system removed from my wall, which required breaking open an adjacent wall to access it. Hence having a plumber come out and have to professionally install the Panel. It looks great and feels great. The other nice addition is the additional shower handle, it's a nice feature. Also the piece seems to be made with quality materials and will hopefully last for years to come.
The item came in about one week and it was from Reno and so the delivery time was reasonable. OVerstock shipped in around 1 business day. Packaging was in good shape and all parts were present. I bought this item because I had bought Vigo's shower enclosure and the experience was satisfactory and increased my condifence in this company. I picked this model because it was stainless steel and I know it was a better material than aluminum, plastic or glass. Glass is very diffuicult to clean. One thing important to know is that the inlet of the system (i.e. the port connected to the outlet of your home's hot and cold water supply) is in 1/2" compreesion. It was not mentioned in the instruction. And my existing water supply line is 1/2" copper pipe and on which I have a shut off valve (push quick connect type) and this product has one end with 1/2" push fit (i.e. you can just push the 1/2" copper pipe into the hole and water tight) and the other is 3/8" compression. In that case it will not fit the shower panel's 1/2" connection. I therefore had to buy a different flexible hose (1/2" compression to 3/8" compression) to connect. Performance needs time to say and I hope I can comment on that in a few moneths.

This shower panel is wonderful. I have had it for about 3 years. Purchased it when redoing a small master bath and wanted something different in the shower. We use it daily and it has been wonderful. To keep it clear of hard water spots, I clean it with WD 40. Looks and works as good today as the day we installed it!
