I bought this wine cooler nearly three years ago and it has kept all of my reds and vermouth at the right temperature. Some wines that I bought even before I had the cooler have stored very well and maintained their structure. The fact that there is no compressor mystifies me, but it makes for a very quiet (it's in my bedroom) appliance which consumes relatively little power. If overstock carries them again, I will buy another
This product worked for one year. It became noisy. Then the temp had to be adjusted constantly. Finally it died. And it says 1 year warranty. Now it just sits there with my wine in it. Not happy It would be stupid to get fixed now. It would cost more than the wine cooler.

I've had this wine cooler for about three weeks and it works great.The only thing is that the fan is a little noisy...but for the price that I got it for, I don't mind!!

We bought this cellar to replace our old one. We were concerned about the reports of humming, but like the price and the capacity of this cellar, so bought it anyway. It arrived in perfect condition right out of the box- just plug and fill! The shelves adjust to accommodate large or small bottles, and the humming,while present, is not overwhelming. It may have to do with the fact that the motor is completely encased; while this may increase the noise factor, it also may lengthen the life of the motor. Cannot comment on durability more than that- our last cellar died as a result of something leaking onto the motor, causing a short. Not a problem with this design. We are very happy with our purchase- saw many at a higher price, but would definitely go with this one again!

It had a dent in the back and one leg missing. Can't complain for such a good deal. It works great and looks great in my kitchen/dining area. Would recommend.
