I bought this thing, thinking I could speed up my burger making activities. In concept, this a is a fine idea. In practice, though I have never got to use it, because it will not fit on either of my 2 sausage stuffers, nor my Kitchen Aid meat grinder. I am hanging onto it because it didn't cost much, and sometime in the future I am going to have to upgrade my grinder; at which time I will choose a grinder that this thing will fit on.

This patty maker works exactly as advertised. It makes 1/3 rd pound patties which I love, but are slightly too big for my wife or father. I simply use a manual patty maker for theirs. The machine works flawlessly, but you should use a light silicone spray or some crisco on the sliding parts to make it slide effortlessly. I use it on my Cabela's grinder, and I highly recommend that you have a foot pedal to start and stop the grinder. I would recommend this to anyone who can handle a large perfectly formed burger.
