Very poor quality weaving
There is a dark diagonal weave of a single thread in navy blue that cuts through the faces of the ladies and other light colors, i.e., the unicorn. The colors are ugly and the backing is too large for the tapestry so it bunches out over the edges. Having just received a tapestry I liked a lot, I am appalled by the horrendous lack of quality in this one. I bought it as a gift for someone who loves the Cluny Tapestries with the allegory of the unicorn, but I am too embarassed to give this to her. I would only hang it in a dark hallway at this point. Absolutely awful. I don't know that I will order again from Overstock. The quality of items has declined so significantly. I will definitely not rejoin Club O.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not well at all. Colors more muted and rather ugly.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Resolution in weaving is extremely poor. I am very disappointed in this tapestry in every way.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Not accurate in that the photo was extremely deceptive.
