This foam topper is an excellent value. It is comfortable but I put it over a pretty firm non quilted mattress and think I might have needed a 3 " topper. However, it is very nice.
When you take this product out of the wrapping, make sure you have a clean place to put it. The memory foam picks up and shows all dirt & debris. It took about 48 hours to eliminate the smell. I have actually slept 3 nights with no pain. I had been having pain almost every night for the last 2 years. This pain leads to a lot of tossing and turning during the night to get comfortable. The memory foam was worth every penny I spent. The only problem with the product is knowing how many inches thick to buy. I wish the manufacturer had a table with weight, mattress firmness desired ( like extra firm, firm, average, etc. ), and recommended thickness to buy. If I was buying this for a person under 100 pounds like a child, I would purchase the 1 inch thick pad. I got lucky with my 2 inch thick choice.
I purchased this topper for my son. It was advertised as 4lb density, the product that arrived was featherlite weighing only 6lbs delivered. Returned the item before opening it and purchased another. These are not returnable if opened. Fantastic Customer service on the return. We have the beauty rest on two other beds they are wonderful.
I have not been able to sleep in my king size bed for two years after I had surgery. I tried other toppers and I still woke up sore and with a backache. It came down to sleeping on a futon with a partially filled air mattresses underneath or sleeping in my recliner. Then I found the Ultra-soft Memory foam 2 inch Mattress topper and I am back in the master bedroom again. There was very little odor and within 8 hours, I was able to put the mattress topper on my king bed and sleep on it that night. The mattress topper was directly on the mattress, and then I had a microfiber mattress pad on top of it. It didn't take much to feel how good the topper felt. I heard from other people that memory foam mattresses were hot to sleep on. My husband and I only felt a little warmth on the first night, but now that has gone away. Even my husband who had hip replacement surgery said that he is sleeping better. He doesn't roll around as much as before. I wake up in the morning with no backache and rested. I would recommend this topper to anyone who cannot sleep on a hard mattress. I would definitely buy another one. My daughter has already asked me to get one for her bed. The next time I need another one for myself, I definited will buy another one. Maybe even try the three inch topper.
