Love this mattress. When it arrived it was in a black tote bag. I was questioning myself when i saw this. I thought at first what kind of mattress did i purchase. But was surprised when i open the package this huge mattress unfolded. it is a great mattress. And well worth the price.Read More
Very comfortable. Easy to open packaging.Read More
Far too soft, and looses shape within a month. Delivery service however is excellent.Read More
This arrived with a black stain on it. Looks like ink. OS gave me a discount because of this, but I would rather have had an unstained mattress.Read More
For the amount, the product is okay for a guest room, but if I had to go back I wouldn't purchase this. The fabric material is not smooth and not soft to the touch. But the support is very good and because I don't want the hassle of returning it, I will just buy a good mattress pad and that should solve it. Also, the mattress came rolled up and when I opened it, there was bad fraying 3" long (on both mattresses, it was 2" on the other). I called and overstock said they will give me credit of ****. Overall, I should have just given a 2 star because of the damage.Read More
Great mattress for the price. It took about 24 hours for it to fully flatten out and uncurl but worth the wait. Firm mattress with pillow cover makes for great support and comfort. Woudl highly recommend.Read More
Mattress arrived via ups rolled up in a big cloth bag with a draw-string. Was very easy to transport to it's permanent location. Mattress was wrapped like a mummy and took some time to carefully remove all the tape and cloth it was in. Mattress sprung to life almost instantly and my 13 year old son happily used it a few hours later. my son is heavy and the mattress he had before this one used to have such nasty springs poking up all the time that he had a hard time sleeping. This mattress is SO comfortable that he sleeps like a baby.. well, like a man...babies really don't sleep that well. He says the mattress feel just as comfy as my 2000$ queen set. This was a really great buy.. would definitely buy again.Read More
I ordered 2 of these mattresses for my sons . They arrived quickly and they are ohhh so comfortable!!!!! I am using them without a boxspring (on the Durabed Foldable Platform bed-also from Overstock). My sons love them. Was considering ordering a foam mattress, but was scared away with all the reviews of the odors, so when I found these, for just a few bucks more, I jumped at the chance and ordered. My sons slept on them the first night after they were opened-the pillowtop section was a little flat at first but it expanded within a few days, but even flat, the mattress was super comfortable!Read More
I was a little apprehensive when I opened the package, just as it was described on the website by the way. I really didn't think it was going to regain its shape, but it surely did. The mattress is for my young grandson's room, so I wasn't too concerned about the sturdiness, however, our very large son (39 years old), came in from out of town the day after I set this mattress out. To make a long story short (?) he slept on the mattress that night and was so very comfortable. I'm very pleased and impressed with Overstock.com. I will continue to shop with them.Read More
Looking to get two twin mattresses for our guest room I found this matress. After reading the reviews thought I would try one and see how well it worked. I want to have a really comfortable inviting guest room. Well I am back to order the second one because the first one was so comfortable. Had 4 different people lay on it and try it out. All thought the mattress was awesome. Since we all have different opinions about things thought that was pretty amazing.Read More

I just bought this mattress. When I opened it up, the pad in the pillow top folded over on itself and is now a lump. Any advice on how to fix it?
Hello turtleperson, per my research, there are several ways to get rid of those pesky lumps in a pillowtop mattress. First, if there is a zipper, remove the pillow layer out of its pocket, and hand it on a clothesline, beating it with a clean broom. If the pillow pad is permanently attached, take the broom and beat down the mattress on the bed. Another option is to leave the bedding on, and roll around on the bed from side to side, and top to bottom, using your body like a rolling pin. Not only are these methods effective, but they also sound kind of fun! I hope this information is helpful. Thank you for shopping with us!

How to Buy Sheets to Fit a Pillow-Top Mattress
Everyone knows that pillow-top mattresses are designed for additional softness and comfort. Due to the padding, pillow-top mattresses have more depth than regular mattresses. The height of the padding varies, but generally, manufacturers make pillow-top mattresses in depths varying from 7 to 22 inches. Specially made deep-pocket sheets for pillow-top mattresses are available; however, it is important to know the depth of your mattress before purchasing sheets. Here's how to buy the best sheets to fit your pillow-top mattress.
Popular Sizes of Pillow Tops
Do you have an uncomfortable mattress that needs replacing? Your health, energy, and happiness rely on the quality of sleep you get, and a stiff or uncomfortable mattress can get in the way of a good night's rest. Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
