This was a gift for my son. He wanted a med/firm mattress. I was skeptical of buying a mattress online but this turned out to be a great choice. Since I live in a different state I was able to ship this directly to him. It was easy once I decided on what mattress I was getting. I placed my order, he received the mattress sooner then was expected. Thanks Overstock you made this process very simple.Read More
Had mattress for 2 days. Never reached its 11 inches as advertised. Pillow top had no substance. Flat as a pancake. Mattress had 3 large craters in it. Called customer service and the rep. stated we cannot accept returns on mattresses. Your out of luck. Also purchased the 14" memory foam mattress. That one was ok. Go elsewhere to get your mattress. Cardi's or Jordan's for sure.Read More
We would NOT recommend this product. It is NOT ultra plush as advertised, we had to add a topper for comfort. It is NOT 12" as advertised, it's 9"...and that's after letting it "fluff" for five days. Also, it is not perfectly square, the bottom slants inward even after having it for a month. There is no place in the description indicating it's made in China. Had we known, we would NOT have purchased it. All I can say is that it's false advertising all around.Read More
This mattress arrives all rolled up. The quality of the outer fabric is quite poor. The springs so far seem fine, but it is definitely not the same quality mattress you would get delivered from your local mattress store. You get what you pay for, and the price reflects that.Read More
Coil springs seem fine. Foam topper is defective. Topper upholstery appears to be for 2.5 inch thick foam. Foam NEVER expands. Perhaps the warehouse held it compressed too long or in high heat. Foam is 1/2" of crispy biscuit. Coils very effective at isolating motion, and nice firm support, but needs topper to distribute your weight and smooth the tops of the springs. Plan on cutting away the pillow top and add a new one.Read More
Did not like this mattress at all. It is not as thick as mentioned in the description. It is not sturdy despite of the fact it is placed over a very solid box spring. It was packed very well to protect it during the shipping and probably that's why I am giving 2 stars.Read More
The mattress came rolled up in a cardboard/paper package. It takes a few days for the mattress to expand to its entirety. Overall, it is an okay mattress. I prefer a fuller mattress.Read More

Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body.
