I was disappointed in this, but more so in myself for not springing for a nicer, more $$ pad for my new rug. I needed to trim this up quite a bit, and it arrived with several jagged edges as though it had already been trimmed haphazardly with scissors! Upgrade to a better pad.

This rug pad was a good bargain, the 9x12 size was actually cheaper than the 8x10 size. The pad is not thick, so it doesn't provide any type of significant cushioning, but it does the job of holding the rug in place and providing a protective layer between the rug and hardwood floors. The pad is also designed with a grid pattern, making straight cuts easy. I used the excess from the bigger size under door mats and throw rugs. I have noticed that the pad sticks to the wood floor to the point where it needs to be peeled up, but I have not noticed any markings on the flooring due to this. Overall, it does the job and was a good value.

The pad was a generous size - I was able to cut in half and use for two rugs. Use on hard wood floor under wool rugs. The rug stays put. Gives a small amount of cushion under foot. The delivery for prompt, the price was right, no smells, very pleased with product.

I bought a very thick braided wool rug, so I needed a rug pad that was thin so that it wouldn't feel like I was stepping up to a platform every time I walked onto the rug. This rug pad does the job perfectly. It's not the best rug pad out there, but it's exactly what it should be for the price.

It isn't a bad pad if you're looking for something thin and don't mind the time (and frustration) it takes to cut it to fit the area rug. And, don't plan on having any kind of cushion! There won't be any. It is strictly a pad to keep the rug from slipping; nothing more. As thin as it is, I can't think it will hold up very long either.

These rug pads are great. I've used them under a variety of rugs--one quite thin that gets a lot of traffic as it is under my dining room table--and the rugs on top rarely move. I was worried that these wouldn't "grip" well, but I have been really impressed. They also protect the wood floor underneath. I'm really happy I went with these instead of more expensive pads, since I'm not sure what else (maybe just soft padding) the others would offer.

This non-slip rug pad will do the job of holding your area rugs in place. I bought the 9 x 12 size and cut it in to 3 diff pieces to put under my living room rug, family room, and bedroom rug. I actually don't think the family room and living room rugs need the rug pads since there are furnitures anchoring them already, but the pads are still there since I bought it already. It doesn't really help the rugs feel any softer or plusher because the pad is very thin. It will only does the job of holding the rug in place, so don't expect more from it.

I feel the pad was adequate for the price. Did not give it four stars because I thought it was a bit thin for the price compared to other ones we have ordered in the past.

This pad performs as expected. We put it under the dining room rug because a cushy pad would make it harder to move the chairs. We just wanted the rug held in place. It works beautifully.

This pad is quite functional and serves its' purpose of preventing rug movement. I have 11 & 10 year old boys, and a very large dog, and the rug still stays in place while they run and play. It was larger than I expected, so I had to trim to fit under the rug.

Received these at half the sale price advertised by the department stores. They also shipped early, so thanks! I recommend the non-slip with use on your area rugs to protect you and your laminate/wood flooring.

I have purchased several of these rug pads and have cut to fit them under several different sized rugs. They hold up well on wood, tile or carpet while providing a nice cushion without raising the rug to make it a tripping hazard.
