Great for baby!
I LOVE this rug!!! I had been shopping for a rug for months and I was a bit worried about buying a rug online because you can't touch it to determine quality, thickness, softness, etc. I am so happy I took a chance on this rug because it is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 6 month old that will be crawling and bumping his head very soon. I wanted a rug that was plush/thick/soft enough to cushion his clumsy first movements, but not too thick that pennies or other small choke hazards could get lost in it. The rug is the perfect balance. Also, it DOES NOT SHED!!! It did not have a funny smell and it laid down flat straight away! The color is exactly what I expected: cream with beige/taupe swirls. It is beautifully neutral. I just had a Christmas party and I received many compliments. I recommend this rug!

rug you could dream on!
I ordered this rug, after looking at hundreds of rugs both on line and in stores. After reading the description I was a bit nervous, as I didn't want a shag rug, as this was described as being. I took a leap of faith,and was so happy with the rug, though it is a thick plush rug, it wasn't as "shaggy" as most rugs fitting that description are. The rug laid flat after only a couple of hours on the floor, which was a nice suprise. It vacumns easily, which was a concern I had after reading that it was a shag rug. The colors are exactly what I was looking for, beige with taupe, very calming, yet contemporary looking with the pattern in the rug. It is very soft and nice underfoot. I would definitely recommend this rug to anyone looking for a contemporary neutral rug.

Love this rug
I read the other reviews which were very helpful. The rug is perfect for my living room. The quality is wonderful, it does not need any type of pad underneath, it's not cheap or flimsy. The color is cream/beige, maybe just slightly darker than pictured and the pattern is taupe. Very soothing and elegant. It's beautiful!

Amazing Look, Amazing Quality, LOVE It!!
I just bought a new home with all hardwood floors and travertine, so I needed some rugs to class it up and make it more comfortable. This has to be my favorite purchase of all time, let alone my favorite item in my house. It is so gorgeous, that I bought 3 plus a circular one for our dining room. You won't be sorry if you buy this. The shag is very plush! One note, if you are allergic to petroleum and other plastic materials, you WILL need to let this air out before you place it in your living space. I did get terrible headaches from the "gassing off" of this product. It smells strongly for a few days.

I have been using this for almost a month and can't find a negative word to say about it. Is nice and soft and has not shed. Using it in my living rom. The swirl pattern is very pretty and I love it. Best rug for the cost/quality/looks that I could find. Also have the matching runner. Would buy again. A+

Awesome carpet.
I ordered the 9X12 for my bedroom/office. I'm not using a rug pad and it still has a very plush feel underfoot. Not a true 1960's shag, more of a "thick high/low pile." The rug looks like a million dollars, I will order two more runners in this, it is that great. Shipped fast and unrolled onto the floor flat. No smell to it at all. It is much more of an oatmeal color than the photos, I like the color a lot. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This rug was perfect for my large, hardwood floored living room. It's gorgeous and really brings the room together. It's so pretty that I changed the arrangement of my furniture so as much of it was visible as possible.

Beautiful Rug
Purchased this for my bedroom. It is actually larger than I expected but no complaints. It looks perfect and compliments my wood bedroom furniture. Very clean and still has a bit of a modern feel to it.
