I was also happy to see that it zipped on 3 sides making it easy to put on or take off. Every other cover I have ever purchased zipped on only one side resulting in my fighting to put it on everytime (like a pillow case). This took me about 5 minutes to put on. Another nice thing about the material is that my cats don't care for it. Any cat owner knows that you've gotta love that!

After reading the previous reviews of other cover selections, I chose this one. I am VERY pleased! It fits perfectly and because the material is thick you cannot see the hideous black cover underneath! The material is soft and the product seems very well made. It was simple to put on and I would purchase again and I recommend to others!

I've had this for 8 months now. It washes and wears wonderfully. Spots come right out. The size seems to work for a queen or full interchangeably. I have both sizes in a couple vacation rentals and the coversfit on both the thick and thin futons. They look great and really dress up the room!

I expected this to be a dark chocolate brown like the photo, but was pleasantly surprised to receive it and see it had more nuance, milk chocolate. It looks like a more expensive cover because of this, and is silky smooth. You do see your finger tracks if you run your hand over it, but I like that - it adds dimension and texture. The fabric is very silky, not as sticky-velvet as expected, but smoother, thinner while still being a thick cover. There is a bit of wiggle room for my full mattress, so there was no problem zipping up. Would *highly* recommend this cover, great value, as the quality is excellent.

This futon cover was so short that my daughter struggled to put it on, only to find out that it was so tight the futon mattress would not bend! The fabric is thin and cheap. Back it goes; what a disappointment.

The price was cheap, but so was the cover. Way too many wrinkles, which are impossible to get out. And was not a soft suede material.

First cover I received was in good condition but did not fit my 8 inch mattress, so I ordered the 10 inch mattress size, when I removed the cover from its packaging the material had holes in it and the entire cover had dog hair all over it. Also the 10 inch size was too small for my 8 inch futon mattress. Fortunately Overstock's return process is convenient.

I've had the 8" Sand colored cover for about 2 weeks. Yes, it did arrive unpacked in the box as other reviews stated but I was never concerned about that. The density of the fabric was thinner than I hoped since it was described as upholstery grade but it's not terrible. Before the first use I did wash it but I was too nervous to run it through the dryer just in case the stitching didn't hold. The 3 sided zipper is awesome and was a total breeze to put on the mattress! Took less than 5 minutes to have the mattress covered and back on the futon frame. I have had several guests over, which included a dozen kids, and the cover doesn't appear stained so it's possible that it's actually 'soil and stain resistant'. I also have a large cat that and enjoyed lounging on the futon and I have not yet noticed any claw marks, however, only time will tell with either of these comments. My only true complaint is that the cover definitely runs large and hangs off the mattress making it appear slightly sloppy, but then the description does use the term 'Generous sizing'. My mattress is not worn down and after check several times it is a true 8" mattress. However, I do not know if I would suggest ordering a size down even if that was an option. Because of the sizing issue and the density of the fabric I rated this as average. However, for the price I would definitely purchase this again.

A futon cover is not an easy item to find in the stores. I was delighted to find such a great selection of them at Overstock.com The quality is very good, the fit is fine, and I love the color. I am sure this cover will give me a nice looking futon for quite a while. When I need another cover, I will know just where to look!! The price was great too!!
