We were very pleased with the quality of these chairs. The chairs are well made, the wood is nice, and they store relatively flat-the chair has a nice curve. The only problem is they will not stay folded unless placed well. They are very comfortable and large . I recommend this product.
Love the new chairs. Wood is excellent, finish is attractive, and they're comfortable so long as you use chair pads. The only down side is, even though they fold, you can't prop them against the wall because they will unfold. You have to band top & seat together to keep them in folded position.
We ordered these chairs to go with a similar teak table to replace a much heavier and significantly more expensive teak set. The chairs are much lighter but attractive. Unfortunately, sitting on the one chair for the first time, a large and critical part for its integrity, broke. Upon a 'chat' session with Overstock.com a representative will get back to me in a couple of days and will almost certainly replace the defective chair. My jury is still out on whether I'd recommend these chairs; they are an excellent value if and only if they're sturdy enought for everyday use. Our older, and much sturdier, teak chairs, served us well other than being a victim to old age.
We have bought 4 Ubatuba chairs for our eucalyptus table on our small porch. They are pretty, comfortable and we appreciate being able to fold them and move them easily. Very versatile. They seem quite well made. I purchased 4 small bistro cushions for them which are a perfect fit. We're very pleased.
These are wonderful folding chairs. The construction and materials are top notch. The only drawback with this product relates to the hardness of the seating surface. Pillows are necessary if you plan to sit in these chairs for any length of time. If you plan to purchase this product buy pillows to go with them. Otherwise, this is any attactive and inexpensive alternative to your outdoor setting arrangment. Thanks
