If I had to do it over again, I would not order this product. It was difficult to put it together and if I move it to a different area in the room, it starts to come apart so I had to clue everything to keep it from separating.Read More

This spinner looks exactly as it does in the picture. It works to hold our Blu-rays and DVDs. Installation wasn't difficult once we figured out what we were doing. You can tell that this product is MDF and of lower quality. The metal rods help it look more interesting and it serves the purpose of holding our collection. It would be nice if it came in darker colors to match the rest of our furniture.Read More
This product is as cheap as can be - and I mean cheap as in poor, poor quality. I was expecting something basic and functional, not utterly cheap and embarrassing. The finishing is a layer of paper (that's not an exaggeration), the pieces don't fit together well so there are weird-looking gaps, screwing in some of the parts caused visible rips in the paper finishing, so I've owned it one day and it already looks ratty. If you are across the room, then the product looks okay. Once you get close its an eyesore. When I bought this the reviews were pretty good. I really don't know how to reconcile those reviews with the piece of junk that I got -- if someone offered me half the money I just paid for it I would hand this already-assembled item to them immediately. Totally disappointing.Read More
At first all the little parts and screws and bolts were daunting, but I put this together all by myself in 40 minutes. The directions make sense! It spins beautifully (on carpet!) and it's exactly what we were looking for. We used to to store our blu-rays. Love it!Read More
I bought this for my husbands room which he has a lot of DVDs so I'm using it for tat oh boy putting it together was horrible ! But once I put it together looks great ! It's a very good organizer for DVD or Video tape , I love it looks good !Read More
This is a really convenient piece of furniture. We use it to store all sorts of random stuff, as well as CDs and things - remote controls, USB cables etc. Because it spins round, it's easy to access anything you put on there, even if it's on the back. It looks great and is reasonably easy to assemble - although you should make sure you read ahead and get the big picture, because while it's generally well explained, it doesn't actually mention that certain shelves at the beginning have a "right way round" to be placed.Read More

Many people love to collect favorite movies, programs and television shows on DVDs, whether it's a collection of classics, documentaries, children's movies or everything in between. Most people cherish their collection of DVDs, but you might not know it from the messy pile those DVDs make when shoved into a box or crammed haphazardly onto a shelf. Some attractive media bookshelves can be a great place to start.
TV Stand Buying Guide
As televisions get thinner, the furniture they sit on can get leaner, too. TV stands are often all you need to hold your flat-panel TV and media essentials. They tend to be smaller than full entertainment centers while still having enough shelves for a few components and some media storage. And even if you want to hang your TV on the wall, you may want a TV stand underneath it to hold your cable box, DVD player, and video game system.
Best Bookshelf Materials
It's not unusual for bookshelves to incorporate multiple materials for different features. If you haven't decided on wood, wood products, metal or glass bookshelves, look at their relative strengths and weaknesses. Look below to learn the best bookshelf materials. Wood: "Solid wood" is a common term for furniture made from lumber planks. Beware of making assumptions based on labels like "hardwood" and "softwood." Hardwoods are derived from deciduous trees and softwoods from coniferous trees; the terms don't connote their relative strengths. Balsa is a hardwood even though it is very soft, just as Douglas fir is a softwood even though it is very hard. They all make excellent, classic stock material for bookcases. Generally, harder woods are the heavier and more resistant to scratches. Still, softer woods, if treated correctly, will keep just as well as harder woods. Plywood: Made by stacking thin sheets -- "plies" -- of lumber and gluing them under pressure, plywood features grains that alternate direction for strength. Several grades are available, of differing cost. Top and bottom plies can be high-quality woods to create the appearance of fine woods, but edge veneer or molding is needed to complete the illusion. Particleboard: Wood chips glued together carry a much lower price tag than solid wood, and particleboard is denser and more uniform. It's a great choice when cost is the primary consideration. Bookshelves crafted from veneered composite boards can look and feel as good as real wood. MDF: Wood fibers, tiny chips and sawdust collected and glued into sheets form medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Low-cost MDF makes an excellent base for veneers; plus, its strength is consistent and it shapes well. Metal: There's a reason most library bookshelves are made from metal: Metal bookcases are resistant to moisture and fungus, their low-friction shelves are easier on books' bindings and metal's strength-to-weight ratio can't be beat. Their cost usually comes in below any other material. Glass: Glass bookshelves weigh more than other types, but if you plan on assembling your bookshelves only once, the style points can be well worth it. Tempered glass shelves (in wood or metal uprights, called "standards") give your home an unbeatable contemporary feel, and glass bookcases' smooth, transparent surfaces add brilliant levity to a decorating piece that might otherwise be notably opaque and heavy.
