I like the light, but the photo online shows a white alabaster bowl and golden metal. The product I received is definately not white. The bowl is the antique looking golden-tan color that is often paired with the darker metal finishes. The metal ring/plate that attaches to the ceiling is very coppery in color, while the three stems and bolts that go to the bowl are more golden. Gives more of an antique feel, and I was looking for modern. I kept the light and it works fine, but all my other light fixtures have white alabaster bowls! Because this one is not as pictured, I am only giving it 3 stars. If you are looking for copper, this could be your choice!

Recommend installing fixture w/dimmer - a very bright setting shows two bright bulbs - not the diffused glow depicted in the picture. Also the glass color is more of an amber color - seemingly much darker than the off-white color.

This fixture was easy to install and looks lovely in my entry area. It is also very bright - maybe more light than is needed for the small space, but this is remedied with lower wattage bulbs.
