First, this unit is huge! It will definitely take care of roasters, chickens, vegetables and loads of other large portioned meals. Sturdy, cooks evenly and cuts your time in half with the size, can put many chicken pieces and finish meals way ahead leaving you time for other things, would recommend very highly....
I am surprised that the bottom section of the roaster is lighter, more flimsy, than the lid section. The first time I used the roaster, I cooked a large turkey and it was easy to handle when removing from the oven; not flimsy.
The cooked turkey left three impressions on the lid and bottom sections. I washed the roaster with gentle dish soap and towel dried, but the impressions remained; so I scrubbed the area with a Teflon pad, but the impressions remained. I am surprised that a stainless steel roaster would leave cooking marks. I applied a few drops of oil olive to brush up the luster of the roaster--yet, you still see the impressions/ marks.

It was a Christmas gift for my wife. She had been looking at roasting pans for months. When I finally went Christmas shopping I was shocked at the $140 Cephalon (probably spelled wrong) price tag.
This roaster is a nice large size and the top is deep enough to use for cooking as well.
It's a little lighter than expected but I don't think that will effect performance.
For the money it was a great purchase.

I used this product on Christmas Day and was very impressed. I'd needed a roaster for a while, but I'm glad I waited to find just the right one. I would definitely recommend this item to my friends and family. It saved me from using those flimsy aluminum roasting pans and freed up lots of room in the oven! Thank you.

My daughter states she is very happy with the roaster. It roasts well, the interior rack makes it easy to remove roasted item and drain pan. I thought it was attractive and I liked the fact that the cover gave one another pan. It appeared very east to clean.

I have been looking for a great looking & cooking roasting pan to replace the disposable ones I have used in years past. It has been great cooking with the pan & the clean-up has been very easy

The stainless material in the roaster seems rather lightweight but I haven't had a chance to use it yet so I'm guessing somewhat! The features are as described and as long as it can hold up to the heat of roasting I'll give it 3 stars.

Has a good appearance but is thin. I used it only once with good results but If you are a frequent roaster user it probably will NOT be adequate - spend more money and get something heavier that will last!

Happy with my purchase. I needed a roasting pan, when I saw this one I got a geat deal, because it can be used as two different size roasters. Have roasted chickens and pork so far, all came out great. Clean up is easy. Would recommend this product.

I just gave this roasting pan to my boyfriend and got a lot of points for great-looking gift and high-quality appearance. The price was very reasonable and I can't wait until next Thanksgiving when my boyfriend will cook up the turkey.

Fits my turkey or chicken perfectly. Just wish the metal was more durable. Looks more aluminum to me, and on the thin side as far as the metal goes, but did a good job for roasting my turkey. I'm thankful to have it and the price was good. Was delivered on a timely matter too.

Steel too thin, especially on bottom. Somebody said it was like their mom's so I thought it would be that old solid-as-a-rock heavy-duty kind of thing. I'm actually old enough to have used those myself. Been too busy with family to get it returned on time. I know somebody will want it, but not me.

It worked great for my thanksgiving turkey. It held a 16lb turkey but you would not want to use any bigger. having the rack in the pan made it easer to remove and also use the juices to baste the turkey.

With every other covered roaster I have purchased, I have had to put foil over the top to cover my ham when it baked. With this, I put a whole ham in, covered with my usual pineapple, cherries, and brown sugar, and put the lid on. It was a perfect fit. I plan on using the top as a serving dish for my ham at our church potluck. Awesome!

I purchased this roaster two years ago. Everyone that sees it wants it. I purchased it for the sole purpose of cooking turkey and dressing and cooks perfectly every time. The rack helps the turkey cook evenly and makes it easy to lift the turkey out of the pan. The bonus is, it cleans up easy.

I have given this as a wedding gift the last two time I needed one. It is a Big Hit!! I have had mine for 25 years and it is my favorite and most versital kitchen pans. It doesn't matter if your having a Formal Thanksgiving Dinner or BBQ in the back yard, You Will Love this set!!
