I purchased this set and gave one to my son in law and one to my husband. They both commute to work and my husband drives long distances for work. My husband loves this mug! It keeps the coffee very hot - he even has to unplug it and let it cool down a little to drink. If it cools too much, he plugs it back in and it heats right back up again. He is going to take bottled water and heat it up to make his instant ginseng/coffee drink. He likes the mug so much I am purchasing another set in case something happens to the one he has!

My husband and I traveled to Okla and used the mugs, they were great. The coffee stayed very hot (had to open sipper slot every so often to keep it from getting to hot). It was easy to reheat coffee in the mugs without that burned tasted. The plug is in a very good place, it doesn't interfer with placing the mug in the auto's cup holder. The sipper slot could be tighter, as coffee tends to sloush a bit from it. Overall, I highly recommend this item to travelers Linda T

With this cup, my coffee stays hot through my entire morning commute. The cup heats up fast too. One word of caution: the coffee gets scalding hot after about 25 minutes so be careful. Once I arrive at work, my coffee stays hot for a couple of hours so the cup is well insulated. Love it!

These heated travel mugs are wonderful. So long as the beverage in the mug is still luke warm, the drink will be reheated to almost the boiling point within a couple of minutes. I recommend these mugs to anyone who loves to keep their hot cup of cofee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. HOT.

The mugs looked very nice and expensive. I used them as 2 christmas gifts as saves a lot. I'll buy 2 more sets and keep them for gifts for the end of the school year gifts.

I gave these mugs to two guys who travel more than 50 miles each way to work. They consider it a luxury to have hot coffee instead of room temperature coffee. Glad I could help.

I used the one travel mug for 2 days and it stopped working. The connection on the handle of the cup was missing a part that kept it from making a good connection.

love them. the only draw back is that you have to have the motor running for it to heat up. other than that they are great!

I am so pleased with these mugs that I just ordered 2 more to give as gifts! I was raving about my cup at the Expresso Parlor yesterday and 3 people came up to me to ask where I got it and not to tell anyone else so Overstock wouldn't sell out!! I love that it will take cold coffee and make it HOT! HOT! HOT! I actually have to unplug it because the coffee gets VERY Hot. I am not wasting so much coffee anymore throwing it out and since most of my day is spent driving and getting in and out of the car to collect water samples in the snow, rain, wind,and ice it's nice to have a HOT mug of coffee when I get back into the car! I am very very pleased with these mugs and the color is very stylish to boot!

I just wish they held more coffee but they have to have a place in the bottom for the heating element. These are really good and keep the coffee HOT.

Used blue mug, does not keep beverages hot. Switched cord thinking it might be that, still the same. Haven't tried the red mug yet but I hope it works better than the blue one.

Nice mugs! In a very short time these mugs make the beverage very hot! I would purchase these again. So far no problems with the heating element. I do not submerse in water. Clean with a damp cloth and dry immediately.

These coffee mugs heat up like "nobody's business", much hotter than any standard coffee maker I've encountered. The outside leaves much to be desired, the paint chips when the wind blows...the manufacturer should stick to stainless. Overall I would purchase these mugs again simply for the love of hot coffee, and I do mean HOT!

My guy loves them because he likes to drink his coffee piping hot.

I looked in some major dept. stores and found similar products, but the bottom of the cup wouldn't have fit in the cup holder of my car. The price of one in stores was the same price as the two I received here at Overstock. I wish it was dishwasher safe. It keeps my coffee nice and hot and is sturdy in the car. Great buy!

Sent this as a present. It arrived on time and was a big hit. It has been reported back to me that the mugs look nice and work well. As reported in other reviews, the beverage does get very hot when plugged in for a period of time.
