I'd never had a roman shade before so I'm not sure how they should look. The only disappointment I had is that they cover about 1/3 of the window when fully open, even when I hung them 6" above the window. I expected that they would fold up higher. Otherwise they look and work great and look very neat. I am pleased with them.
