Beautiful valances. The fabric is very nice but not heavy. The edge has a nice cord trim that gives it a beautiful accent. I can't wait to hang them in my living room. Most valances of this type are heavy and too formal. While these could be used in a formal space these will work perfectly in our more casual home. You get two 54" panels. I have two windows that are close together like they are one. Each window is 39" wide so technically these are not wide enough but another valance would make it look too bedroomy. Also, I am using a rod that goes straight across so the curtain won't have to bend around the sides which gives me a few more inches across the front to work with. I think these will give me the look I'm wanting. These cost less than many of the valances out there too! If I am wrong and I need wider I will use them on a window in my office and order more for the living room.

This was the third set of valances that I ordered from overstock within a two-week period. The first two were ordered at the same time and were both lined and of excellent quality so perhaps I didn't read the description of these as carefully, so when they arrived unlined and weren't of as high quality but were approximately the same price I was somewhat disappointed.

The valances arrived quickly and they look just like the picture. The colors were just right. The gold and red cord that is sewn into the hem really looks good. My only disappointment is that there were hanging threads from the seams and the fabric had 1 minor flaw - a small "run" in it. The flaw is not visible because it is in a fold when the valance is hung. Overall, I am very happy with this valance.
