I bought this cookie jar for a Christmas gift exchange, but after I opened the box, I decided to keep it and buy the matching canisters to accent my newly redecorated kitchen. They are so beautiful that everyone who comes into my kitchen has noticed them and made complimentary comments. The workmanship is good and they are roomier and easier to measure from than my old canisters. The cookie jar holds more cookies than I can bake! Thanks, Overstock.com, you've done it again.
This is a beautiful product. Ordered the 3-piece canister set first & followed up with the cookie jar. All are terrific. Hope to add additional pieces over time.
I waited to write my review because I wanted to see how the seal worked. I read other reviews that said they had problems with the seal. Well, I have cookies that are still fresh after 3 weeks, if they last that long.. I have had no problems with mine. The cookie jar is beautiful, it goes really well with granite counter tops. I think of it as an accessory for my countertops. I highly recommend this cookie jar to anyone. If you like to bake a ton of cookies, this jar can handle it, it's HUGE!!!!! There may be a few imperfections with the paint, but that's what happens when it's handpainted, I think it just adds to it's charm.I cannot recommend this product enough!!!!!!!!
